Why would Black women take any criticism? They're taking care of the kids, which is the entire point of the thread :birdman:
They get some of the criticism because they decided to give him the opportunity to impregnate them instead of using their better judgement.

Nobody is talking bad about them for taking care of the kids.

we've all grown up hearing nothing but black men being blamed for single parent households. at what point are you ready to turn to the women and assign accountability for their part in all these broken homes? or do you just want to pretend all these women are just innocent victims like @Teedot
:what:
Maybe the Black men get the blame because they left. You can't blame a woman unless she actually removed the man from the relationship completely, by moving away, getting a restraining order, getting full custody, etc.
These "men fight for custody" cases are the vast minority. Most of the time, the father just leaves. He runs off, to try and nut in another woman and dip.

you can't leave something you never built. sooner you women realize that, the sooner y'all will build steady two parent homes. (if you actually want it)

They are mentioning how it will stop future cases of this happening.

Women not giving them opportunity will definitly stop these aint shyt men from getting the opportunity.

Where are the posts that defended the men not taking care of their kids? Where are the posts saying that the men who dont take care of the kids dont deserve blame?

Dudes went into another topic because they arent men who abandoned their kids but I dont see defending of men who dont take care of kids.

What?
nikka this isn't a goddamn house. We're talking about children. Literally, the man impregnating a woman "built" the child. He then decided, that instead of taking responsibility, he'd run off and hide. There can't be a two parent home if the father decided to run off :what:

Have kids out of wedlock Brehettes.

/Thread

The best answer is usually the simplest.

If both parties are not ready to accept the responsibility the commitment of marriage brings, they definitely won't be ready for the responsibility and commitment of having and rearing a child.

So if there is no real commitment symbolized by marriage, then why stay around and raise a child created out of sexual gratification, impulse or lust?

nikka what the fukk does that have to do with a man taking care of his kid?
It's his kid regardless of the relationship that the parents share.

it means if you really want men who will take care of their kids, make sure you've vetted his character first.

but like i said yesterday. y'all really just look for sperm donors with swag that can pay a bill or two. probably wouldn't know what qualities to search for if you made a concentrated effort.

You're pathetic. Do u not realize that this issue wouldn't exist if a man would just take care of his kids? It wouldn't matter what kind of man a woman picks if all men would take care of their kids.

You don't see this issue with women hardly ever. It's always the man not wanting to take care of his kids. Out of 100s of parents the percentage of women not taking care of their kids is significantly lower. A man should take care of his kids regardless of the relationship he has with the woman.

the issue would still exist if the man doesn't have the means to take care of the kid, or he doesn't know how to be a father.

and you dont see the issue with women because they're the gender that actually wanted to get pregnant; even though it usually means selfishly bringing a child into the world completely unprepared.

Hun I agree with you when you say women should pick better men. I think that's a universal concept. To pick someone who you know will be a good parent. The question is why is there so many men who don't want to take care of their kids and love them.

If a man is broke has no money for his kids he can still come to see them, hang with them, teach him etc. I'm talking about the man that does nothing for his kids.

Nah the issue wouldn't exist as often if women weren't held to childlike standards. When it comes to this story we know how this story plays out most times when things go sideways so women need to take more responsibility on this. More times than not women will have the kid so if you going to let some dude get you pregnant you need to be even more careful than somebody that can walk away from that responsibility.
