Exactly. Yea Florida also has palm trees. Ain’t nothing sweet about Miami hoods. Jacksonville hoods and plenty more. It’s just a tree lol. I thought LA hoods looked like suburbs too until I went there.
Between skid row , shytty ass downtown and they neighborhoods outside of the rich ones, it is a very large disparity in income and those poor neighborhoods look super fukked up and unsafe. I was shocked by how gritty it looks in real life. Like almost the entire city had a very gritty feel. Those movies do it no justice at all vs actually visiting .
shyt I made a right right past rodeo dr (rich people) and it was a alley with a bunch of críps throwing up gang signs at me. Quickly turned around. In LA you don’t ever feel truly safe . Saw some Mexicans on some Wild shyt too . I stayed in a nice hotel. Wasn’t looking for the hood at all.
NYC I was pretty comfortable. So many cops and cameras .
People trying to find satisfaction on the my hood is more dangerous than yours ignorant bullshyt. LA is far more dangerous. It’s just the reality in 2024

this is gentrified harlem, try harlem in the 80s/90s. LA hoods are different bc you have less projects and more SFH, in a sunny climate.
