I really don’t think those are gangs, them Vietnamese people don’t bang like that. They’re more like crews/social circles that go to clubs and post up.
The ones who were doing the most gang activity were Cambodians out in Long Beach and some smaller sets out in the Valley. Some heavy Chinese sets used to be around (funded by the triad iirc), but they aren’t around anymore from what my coworker told me. That kind of culture has largely died off in that demographic.
