Curl Monkey = That muhfukka that stay doing curls. Arm's big as fukk, but no chest. Iono bout you, but its some dudes in my gym that come in and all they do is bench press. No program that they work out with just straight bench press and go home

O yea see it all the time, dudes who do no legs, back or shoulders just biceps and chest, looking weird as fukk:mjlol:

Nah, I'd whoop their ass. I'm a former athlete, always been strong and all that. And I do a workout routine that emphasizes functional strength. I'm mad as fukk about these pullups, breh.
Breh, aint you had like 3 back surgeries? I mean...maybe you are strong overall but maybe your back aint super strong pound-4-pound vs your other body parts

Combine that with your height disadvantage and also combine that with a likely reluctance to do pull ups often which means not as much neural memory

High rep pullups are an endurance exercise just as much as a strength one though. Strength in pullups should be measured by how much total extra weight you lift at lower reps, not by high numbers completed at body weight

Yea the vast majority of people can't do ther body weight on most exercises

Brehs that want to start being able to do body pull ups and dips that can't should start doing machine pull downs, bend over rows to build those lats and upper back muscles for pull ups and flat / decline bench with barbell and Dumbbells to build those Chest and tris.

Work Accessory muscles like biceps and triceps to help build yourself up as well.

Every time I go to the gym this is what I do. Also I stay on the pull up machine. I can't pull up my weight yet but that machine is a work out. My chest be looking nice when I'm done. Ive been on it about 2 week and can see results.

That shyt hard work though

I can do about ten but they seem like such a struggle when i do them. Pull ups or dips just don't come naturally to me. If I stop doing them for any period of time i go back to only being able to do a few.

Word, word. I stay defiantly going about my life and going hard in the gym despite the surgeries. But you're right, I need to just accept that some shyt ain't for me at this point.

Damn how many reps/set?

At my old gym in BK there was a dude who looked like Sauce Money's brother... had to be a cool 350 easy. But he would bang out chinups for sets of 10. Had the whole pulley rack rockin and rollin... sounding like the beginning of Trillville 'Some Cut' :merchant:

I'm gonna be focusing on dips and pull ups when I switch to my fullbody routine. I can do 15 dips pretty easily now. However my pull ups have fell off in terms of being strict. I wanted to save time and use it as something I would superset of with but it looks like I've been doing it too fast. Def gonna do them much slower.
