All that bench pressing shyt is great BUT...

Wide pull ups & close pull-ups along with varied sets of pushups will change you in weeks. You will notice the difference in a month and you won’t look back.

I can do 20 wide
Like 16 close

I started in March but I already have some upper body strength because I do push-ups twice a day. My goal is to get to 30

Pull-ups/Dips/Pushups weighted and un-weighted should be a part of anyone who is physically capable workout program and this includes multiple variations of each exercise. People fear these exercises generally because they are tough and they aren't show me movements.

I like my overhead pressing movements and prefer incline bench to flat but I agree like you said people tend to forget that pullups and dips are also compound movements. I try to base my full body programming around compound movements 3-4 (Deadlift/Squat Variations, Overhead Press/Bench Variations, Weighted Pullup/Dips) followed by accessory work.

We forget some people want to look how they currently look. I'm reminded it of it every day at my gym.

This is real shyt. I thought people just "said this" to say it, but now I am noticing every time I hit the pull up jungle gym shyt people look at me crazy. I think to myself, "Dude you're bigger than me, this should be easy for you" but it's true, a lot of these big folks can't lift their own weight.

I started with pull ups and push ups. Functional strength is paramount..
Weight is an excuse its a lack of functional strength.also For those that like attn for whatever reason ppl are more "impressed" by pull ups iron rings and acrobatic type shyt ..bench press is a useless ego excersise for bodybuilders and tryhards and this coming from somebody w a football/wrestling background breh I think I got to 3 plates and just switched to push ups

Dnt know how ya insurance is but physical therapy is usually bullshyt last time I blew out my rotator cuff they gave me a big ice pack and an overpriced TENS unit to electrocute myself with. U ever tried pressing a light kettlebell? that will help the shyt heal faster but its gon hurt

The bench press is my least favorite out of the big 3..

I definitely prefer dumbells
