Why do people hardly do pullups or dips

I started out training with calisthenics, so a lot of it stayed with me. At some points I did 20+ pull ups (good form), 100 pnd dips (just a couple of reps) at around 165 which is pretty much my working weight. My pullups fell off a bit (not so sure about weighted dips, havent done them weighted in a while) b/c im focusing more on weights at the moment but thats cyclical. Cales is always going to be my first love. Never was too much into pushups, I throw em in so often.

And before I get the, its easier at low weight (which it is to a certain extent), I started off with the assist machines for cales. Started from the bottom brahhs
