Why do people hardly do pullups or dips

I rarely do pullups. Why do them when you can do the seated pulldowns?

Is it really surprising a tank of a man like Joe frazier couldn't do pull ups?

Everybody has different body types strengths and weaknesses.

I'm 6 ft 4 I had to work a lot harder to do those kind of exercises than a person who is short with shorter arms.

when i'm completely fresh I've done like 30 pullups straight.

not lacking the lifts either :wow:


I always thought body weight exercises were the truest tests of strength since if you need to pull your self up from a ledge or some shyt that 375 bench at 250 might not do shyt for you:mjcry:

short, compact nikkas can always do pullups and dips easily. I think this thread is a humble brag tho:francis:

Im tall as hell, and have long ass arms like 37 in. long. If I have my arms stretched all the way out doing a pullup Im inches from the ground. Its harder for longer limb folks to do those.

I used to do dips on the dip bar but that started giving me pain in my wrist. Dips on the dip bar never felt comfortable to me at all. I just stick to the seated dip machine and rack up alotta weight on that

pull ups and dips is the foundation to building natural strength. i usually do 4-5 sets ( 20-25 reps) of dips/pull ups each set.

if you can't lift your own body weight you better start doing dips/pullups.

My dude always used to say that pull-ups done right are what get your back to flare out like a Cobras head giving you a beastly appearance.

In surgery healing mode I miss that shyt
