Why do college educated black women seemingly, immediately write off blue collar black men?

Yall sound lame as fukk with this shyt.

If you are a plumber making 100k a year and are in shape and decent looking and single you can pull almost any woman in that bracket.

If you are going after IG models that date NFL players then you are in the wrong dating pool.

You got your own spot, car, in shape, dress decent and no a lame a bytch with a degree gonna say no cause you don’t work in an office??

I was a blue collar dude for majority of my single life and I was killing the hoes of all tax brackets. Only had one chick tell me she wanted an educated churchgoing man. This was after I clapped her a couple time so IDGAF.

Stop whining and get your game right.

You sound like fat bytches asking why they can’t get a NBA player. Get in shape bytch or date nikkas that like fat hoes.
if you’re saying this is whining ( which it low key is) lordt knows you gotta get on the women they be the main ones crying in the car about this shyt.

No one cares about a breh with girl problems he gets that resolved or get goes monk in relative silence.

Then there’s the Nate Andrews power tricks.

I'm sorry for the generalization it's just what I see (mainly online)

Trust me that is only where it is and it's just spammed everywhere.
In real life, majority of black women are with black men.
Black women are only more educated than black men by like 6-8%, so let's also kill that narrative that black men are not college educated and there is a massive gap.

Y'all need to hop off the internet and stop peddling this gender war nonsense.

I mean White and Asian women are going after the dudes in Finance working at Wall Street not the plumber or electrician.:manny:
Actually now that I think more about it, I would say Black women are more likely to choose the plumber guy more than other races of women.:manny:

From what I’ve observed, White women will go after the guy more likely to earn more and let her stay at home. If that’s the plumber (who owns a plumbing company) vs the corporate middle manager, they’ll go with the plumber.

I'm sorry for the generalization it's just what I see (mainly online) :hubie: this is something I mainly hear on line, but in real life too I honestly see white collar black women dating blue collar brehs less than latinas and white women. Asian and black college educated women specifically seem against blue collar dudes for the most part

I know college women in general date/marry other college educated men obviously, but the dialogue I hear from a lot and mainly college educated black women is that they will NEVER date a blue collar/trade man. Why though?

It seems backwards cause if we're being fr in MOST places where black people live (like the south) the most financially secure black men are blue collar. But their biggest gripe with dating is seemingly "black men aren't earning enough".

Just from what I see, it looks like a lot of college educated/white collar black women genuinely look down on blue collar men. Obviously not all of them, but a good enough amount to notice it. I think educated women in general tend to lean against blue collar men but I specifically see mainly white collar black women talking down.

Respectfully
I'm sorry but limiting it to black women is a problem. :camby: To answer your question, just look at perceptions starting in high school. It's more respected to go to college than going to a trade school or the military. In fact, counselors usually push those two on the less desirable (non-college material) students. We now live in a society where people respect a scientist that works behind a desk and don't consider an HVAC technician applies science to their work as well. Education pushed a perception so they can sell courses and we bought into it. The women who have a problem with blue collar workers either don't know about the professions or are chasing prince charming who wears a suit.

It’s called Assortative mating and it’s quite normal. Statistically speaking dual college educated partners earn more money, have a higher quality of life, better health outcomes, etc. So it makes sense that college educated Black women would seek that type of arrangement.

Personally I believe Black women are more understanding than most in terms of dating down (educationally speaking). You see how these white men have gone off the rails? Or the hard right turn those Asian men are doing in South Korea and Japan? White women and Asian women have completely shut their male counterparts out in terms of marriage and dating.

For some, it’s not just a money thing, it’s socio-cultural. Going to college changed me and opened me up to a lot of new people, places and things. I was a very different person leaving Stanford than I was entering as a 18 yr old from Oakland. Blue collar workers don’t often have that exposure and it leads to being incompatible beyond surface topics.

Additionally, regardless of education, most women want to marry up, or at least at par, most wouldn’t feel they are doing that by marrying a blue collar dude

Bmore stand up!
I’m gonna say what more brothers should probably tell you…. It’s definitely unpopular opinion, but here goes….

IN 2025, BLACK WOMEN AS A WHOLE ARE NOT TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY

This will cause you less stress overtime and train you to stop expecting so much from this group….

Cuz the same ones that say they don’t want a blue collar black man who still might be making six figures, are the same women that will date a white man or a street nikka who’s getting money in a heartbeat.

Take them with a grain of salt… and I love black women but this is where we are at in society right now
