Why did Kendrick play it safe with " We hate Po Po" line in Grammy performance?

and dont quote me again until u know the difference between calling yourself "a realist" and "the realest", fukkboy

Let me dumb it down for you, since you're obviously retarded.

Anime, including DBZ is for children. Therefore, I cannot take your opinions on anything related to entertainment since you have the platte of a five year old.

As a massive fan whose bought all his releases and thinks the world of him, that was disappointing to see.

IMO he saw that Beyonce backlash and wanted no parts of that.

People in this thread telling us to shut up and appreciate the excellence the pro blackness etc...I feel you to an extent. It was dope and I loved all he had going on, but him editing that hook was lame and I gotta call it like I see it. We're advanced beings here. We should be mature enough to say we enjoyed the performance and still be critical of that whimp ass move.

It is what it is :manny:

This nikka was on stage with the blackest shyt the Grammys seen in 58 years and these idiots mad he didn't say one line about the popo :dead: the coli is a haven for idiots.

I didn't even watch the performance but what I heard, this post is dead on.

And since when does hating the po-po suddenly make someone pro-black or down ... if that ain't hustling backwards...

I don't even have enough time to go through and neg everybody in here bytching about him or the grammy's possibly editing a line about "We hate po po".

nikkas is straight crabs.

Kendrick wants to be just pro-black and "conscious" enough but still wants to be safe enough and get the love from white media and do songs with taylor swift.

Blacker the berry is a perfect example its all fukk cacs for most of the song but he still throws in the "what about black on black crime?" at the end.

You mean like Pac did in in this song?

I swear you nikkas have this image in your head of Pac that don't coincide with reality. Either that or you wanna play dumb when it comes to Kendrick just because it suits your argument.

we all contradict ourselves

its called growth, read Malcolm X

Idiot.

he said he had a dream Pac told him to continue the legacy

That doesn't mean come into the game and BE ME.

I can't speak for a dead man but I doubt 2pac would have wanted the "spark" that he created in whoever to come after him to come into the game and not be THEMSELVES...especially in regards to all the stupid shyt he got into on his path. Continuing "the legacy" doesn't mean repeating mistakes or acting out of YOUR ELEMENT. It means picking up the torch and doing what you see fit with it and hopefully not DYING AT 25 TO GANG VIOLENCE.

nikkas on here postulating about Pac uniting bloods and crips for his death all while laughing at Kendrick for the same shyt. Did yall even listen to Pac forreal? Maybe you listened but didn't really hear him....if you think he woulda been calling this man a "koondrick" and all this CAC in inspired rhetoric for not expressing his blackness the way YOU want him to express it to the letter, I don't think you heard his message or understand his legacy at all...and in no way shape or form can you use his career or actions to slight anything Kendrick is doing or has done.

That performance was basically the moment you decide if you wanna bust raw in a female. Them repercussions wasn't something he wanted parts of. I get your point about people wanting him to be a certain way tho. Name me a good reason why he decided not to say the line?
I already named it but it seems like CBS just edit it out. So what I said was wrong. But I said that he left it out so the focus wouldn't be on that one line over the whole performance
