My major is M.I.S. Im planing on getting a MBA after i get my BBA. If all goes well and everything goes according to plan i could reach 6 figures by my early 30s.

More people need to focus on creating a potential job, and not depending on someone to hire you. Any degree can be useful if you know how you will incorporate it into your life. Bash English degree's but some of the emails I get on a daily basis from people who aren't good writers show me how important that major really is. To me it's a sad reality that most people go into careers that they hate because they pay well..I rather bet on myself.

what dead end job

if they're working in some office making average pay that's pretty good for someone with a weak degree (school, major) and shytty or average grades

they would've been working retail otherwise which might be like half the pay of a dead end office job

Self-employment should be a priority, especially in the black community. I find it insane that we should have to leave our communities to find jobs - essentially begging someone who doesn't have your best interest in mind to hire you. fukk that. Bet on you and see where it takes you. I mean, unless you want to be a nurse, teacher, or sit in front of a cubicle doing tech work.

US has a over abudence of STEM majors and matter of fact companies would rather get cheap foreigns on those H1s and keep them in the role than hire white or black americans in stem fields.
That's not completely true. I know for a fact that people with H-1B visas make bank. I saw a job listed the other day in the break room for like $125k for H-1B holders. The hustle is all income from the US is taxed like they are a citizen, but because they aren't, the only thing that they can get is SS after like 10 years I believe.
