Poor people not just black, with a responsibility to take care of someone, and don't have the pressure to live up to some standard of life usually don't kill themselves. Their main goal is to make sure the ones under them get what the want and to hopefully run into some cash.

Us black folk happen to fall into that category more because of our history tho, hard times breed toughen souls.
