Strongest women on the planet
My family does this all the timeI grew up in a majority black neighborhood and I remember clearly I would have the faces even as a little kid watching white tv shows and how the kids were acting and the school life.
Black people, in general, have the lowest suicide rates in the world, but that doesn't get reported because TPTB don't want to throw out positive propaganda that would help us build self-esteem.
Whatever it takes to keep us behind or destroy us.
Good Post :totheeastside:Good thread.
It definitely has to do with slavery and our ancestors going through that trauma and still surviving if that makes any sense. From slave auctions and families being ripped apart to the prison industrial complex ripping families apart, it's just a burden black women definitely carry and not for the good tbh. Because the complaints of attitudes is our way of releasing that bottled up emotion and being tough and hard. Every other woman gets to be feminine and delicate and gets to be saved, but black women, no way we gotta lift ourselves up and save our damn selves. To the point where we shut out those most important to us - black men.
The article actually says "open and honest communication, strong social support, and positive encouragement" are the reasons. Did anyone read the article?
Just saw this :totheeastside:And we laugh at our pain and dance, and live through it. That's why black culture is so vibrant and black people are just so damn funny and talented. Cause we learned to just laugh at ourselves and sing through our problems.
