black people despite living in america are overall probably the most confident and self assured I don't know where we get it from but it's rare to see the stereotypical nerdy kid from white culture with us. I grew up in a majority black neighborhood and I remember clearly I would have the faces even as a little kid watching white tv shows and how the kids were acting and the school life. don't get me wrong there's still cliques and a general hierarchy but nobody was safe from catching a fade or getting roasted. there just wasn't a huge focus on status. if you was cool people messed with you no problem

My family does this all the time
Used to watch Disney channel like "why is she talking to her mom like that? "
"That's disrespectful, why didn't she get smacked? "
"They didn't have to stuff the little guy in the locker like that "
"She failed her spelling test, why is she sneaking out to the party? "

Black women = several mass movements to embrace natural hair in the last 5 decades. This can also mean big chop, cropped curls, a baldie, etc. for some. When have you seen any movements by white women in this generation where they are not only comfortable with their natural texture and color, but also willingly rock short styles/less hair with great finesse?

It's already been stated in this thread that black women and black people people have endured centuries of hardship and hell on earth which has made us stronger over time. We use to not having shyt so if shyt hits the fan we just like "We'll get thru it" Meanwhile most white people sink when faced with any type of adversity because that white privilege has shielded them their whole life.


This is the main reason why I feel white people are jealous or envious of us, We go thru all this terrible shyt in the world and they still can't break us, they gotta be like

It definitely has to do with slavery and our ancestors going through that trauma and still surviving if that makes any sense. From slave auctions and families being ripped apart to the prison industrial complex ripping families apart, it's just a burden black women definitely carry and not for the good tbh. Because the complaints of attitudes is our way of releasing that bottled up emotion and being tough and hard. Every other woman gets to be feminine and delicate and gets to be saved, but black women, no way we gotta lift ourselves up and save our damn selves. To the point where we shut out those most important to us - black men.

I think BW or just black people in general are used to set backs and opression. So we just endure more emotional pain than other races. So,when one set back happens to other races, they're ready to kill themselves. White men and Asians especially.

People in Tokyo work 60-70 hr work weeks, low pay, high cost of living, sex is rare and they devalue the individual over culture. Even the well to do over there are heavily depressed and suicidal.
