why are anime characters drawn white??

DBZ characters don't really look like any ethnicity to me but if I had to choose, it would be more white than asian. Plus the top image is CGI not anime.

good point on the cgi but my point is that a lot of anime characters don't look like that

Yes, I started to take note of it years ago. And of course, fans here in the states love to play dumb and cop pleas. It's funny y'all mentioned Yoruichi, as not only do fans deny she's black, but draw fan art of her with a lightened skin tone. But, as someone who has seen a lot of anime/manga, the Euro dikkriding is pretty obvious. Apparently if Titans ever really appear and start eatin' muhfukkas, only Germans and one half-jap will manage to survive.

I see anime as a stylized image of actual people, emphasis on stylized. It's not supposed to be an exact replica of Asian peoples but a representation, that's why I said Minato looks like a stylized anime Asian, the same with most of the Uchihas in Naruto.
