I believe that could make a difference because especially the last 20 years they've cut ALL the electives and extracirriculars out of the city schools in the USA. Kids don't get to do music in any serious way, kids don't get to do theatre until high school at the earliest and even that is devalued or absent at a lot of schools. It's pretty much straight academics and sports as the only things getting any funding.
It's called acting.
Denzel Washington was from a private school in New York but some of his first big roles were as a South African activist, a British soldier, a Caribbean police chief, a Confederate slave, and a Mississippi carpet cleaner.
Forrest Whittiker's most acclaimed role was playing Idi Amin. One of Morgan Freeman's biggest roles was playing Nelson Mandela.
Imagine if Sidney Poitier had only been allowed to play characters from the Bahamas his whole career.
How many times I gotta say this shyt
those were American Hollywood films for us
that is the difference
again if the equivalence of whatever UK Hollywood is .... if they wanted to do a movie which wtoryline/plot was about America or base in America.... with an all Brit cast ; nobody here would have a problem, because its their movie
I hope you finally get it
