There's a myth that Brady is a clutch playoff performer. This myth is based on things that happened nearly 10 years ago.

2005: Throws huge INT on the road to help seal a loss against Broncos.
2006: Surrenders biggest playoff comeback in championship game history
2007: Surrenders one of biggest SB upsets of all time.
2008: Injured.
2009: Shut down by Ravens, gives up 3 INTs and a fumble I think.
2010: Jets shut him down.
2011: Loses again to the Giants in the SB.

Manning has had his share of playoff woes...and it's ok if you think Brady is better. But please stop with this myth that Brady is some sick playoff performer. He's living off reputation. The best playoff performer of this generation was Kurt Warner not Brady.

nikkaz forget brady lead the league in TD's in 02' with a recieving core of

WR Troy Brown
-WR David Patten
-WR Deion Branch (Rookie)
-TE Christian Fauria

:stopitslime:

And yards in 05' with

Deion Branch
David Givens
Troy brown

:stopitslime:

Brady doesn't need elite Recievers to put up elite numbers

Nobody can find worse recieving cores a QB has lead the league in TD's or yards with. EVER

In 2010 Manning put up 33 TDs, more than Brady put up in both of those years, throwing to Jacob Tamme, Blair White, Wayne, and Garcon. That was the year Collie and Clark got injured and Colts WR corps was trash.

And like Manning he didn't win shyt with those weapons. Ironically enough putting up regular season numbers and then having those numbers drop come playoff time as your team cops Ls has long been used as a reason to downgrade Peyton. Now that it is Thomas of course nikkas will give you a thorough rundown of every play and how it isnt' Thomas' fault whereas before it was all about the bottom line. They are the same guy. :comeon: nikkas are entitled to their preference but I have really seen nothing from either to truly distinguish them from each other.

Saying they're the same guy is a far cry from "he's a system QB while he IS the system"

They're clearly the two best QBs from this generation...I'll wait til their careers are over and we have full bodies of work to evaluate before I fully go in....I just gotta point out the shytty attempts at throwing shade on Brady the Gawd.

You just gonna ignore the instances where Manning had his team in position to win or tie late and nikkas fukked up? :dwillhuh:

Which games in the playoffs did the Colts lose that Manning set the Colts up in position to win? Like when the game started and the score was 0-0?:dwillhuh:

2000 against the Dolphins. He put them in field goal range for the win. Kicker missed and Dolphins won in overtime as some RB whose name I cant' remember logged 200 yds rushing and scored the game winning TD.

Against Pittsburgh in 2005 game tying FG missed by Vanderjagt at home in a dome.

Against the Jets a couple years ago he threw a pass that would have iced the game but the reciever drops it they have to settle for a FG and the Jets get a huge return and end up winning on their own FG in the final seconds.

Those are just he games I remember off the top of my head and that I saw most of if not the whole thing.

Brady has had very good luck with kickers. Ravens bricking that kick last year gifting him a SB trip after he tried to give the game away with an INT.

Panthers kicking the ball out of bounds at the end giving him the ball at the 40.

SMH.

The GOAT Montana had the Jerry Rice to throw to. We gonna hold that against him? How about Elway when he road Terrell to those two SB wins.

If Tyree's helmet didn't make that catch or Asante caught that INT in 07, plus the pass that Welker dropped last year, Brady would be undisputed GOAT. But all that shyt is part of the game breh. Just like Adam hitting those FGs, Rex Grossman throwing passes to Colts defenders in the SB, and Peyton hitting Porter for a clutch TD pass late in the SB :lolbron:

I understand people talk about Brady losing to giants twice and the jets in the playoffs recently but making 5 superbowls is no easy feat! How many of your QB's have even been to the Bowl?

Manning is dope, technically amazing but I'd role with Brady.
