Tom Brady, Patriots, 2007
Regular season (16-0): 398 of 578, 68.9%, 4,806 yards, 8.3 YPA, 50 TD, 8 INT, 117.2 passer rating
Peyton Manning, Colts, 2004
Regular season (12-4): 336 of 497, 67.6%, 4,557 yards, 9.2 YPA, 49 TD, 10 INT, 121.1 rating
The FIRST year Brady got serious weapons, he literally blew the doors off Peyton's best season.(Still the second best season a QB's ever had)
More yards, more TD's, less picks, higher Completion percentage, Perfect record, and the GOAT offense
Can we not have this debate ever again until they retire?
But I'll just drop this in here as my only comment.
Tom Brady was picked as QB of the decade over Peyton Manning. Aaron Rodgers, "Tom's better than all those guys." Just let the players tell it. I still think people can't wrap their heads around how an unheralded 6th round pick got to be so good.
Here's my question, why couldn't Bellicheck make another Brady in Cleveland? Why couldn't he make Pro Bowler and top 10 NFL QB Drew Bledsoe into Brady? Especially since Bledsoe was more physically talented as thrower than Brady? Why was he 5-14 with Bledsoe? Why couldn't Charlie Weis make another Brady? Brady led the NFL in passing yards right after Weis left, Cassel didn't do shyt. Bledsoe played better in Buffalo the very next year. Why did the Pats go from a bottom 10 offense in 2000 to top 6 in 2001 with Tom Brady at the helm? With juggernaut weapons on offense like...ugh.......David Patten Why did Brady have to lead 4 4th quarter comebacks as a basically a rookie and 5 game winning drives that season? Why hasn't anyone made another Tom Brady? Oh yeah, that's right.
There isn't one.
