Yea I actually feel worse after the finals.
Lack of urgency, lack of gameplanning and lack of adjustments.

Was a silly move, mostly in the sense that we're still yet to find even an average PG to run this team. None of the guys we've brought in have worked at all

Annnnd if we want to add on. Getting Westbrook cost us Vogel as well.
im not saying Vogel is a better long term coach than Ham. Because Ham could be really good 2 to 3 years from now. Not saying Vogel doesnt have his flaws.
However, I think we had enough bodies that Vogel would have figured out something to not let Murray go off like that. Murray's efficiency & PER was much higher vs the Lakers than anybody else in the playoffs. Just no answers.

Gonna have to agree with this.. Maybe Ham turns himself into a great coach, but he wasn't the guy to take this team to the Finals this year. Someone like Vogel would have made the changes earlier in ALL 3 of the series if we're being honest.
Vogel's issue was he needed someone offensively to help him out. I always trusted his in game adjustments, his counters, and he changed stuff up when it needed to be even when others didn't agree (Caruso starting lineup in Game 6 vs the Heat)

The thing Ham got that Vogel didnt get last time was a healthy AD.
Vogel was up 2-1 agains the Suns until AD got hurt and thats with other guys shooting poor. Get stops when we needed. Get fastbreak points to make up for offensive issues.
Ham just letting Dennis be food to Murray was perplexing.
Again at least try a TBJ on him. Some size that they'd at least have to think about guarding at the 3 as well. Try a Max Christie, try something. Its like he just figured Murray would have back down to earth eventually.

You said big is #1 priority but didn't say how you'll get one. Is that the Beasley/Mo and picks trade? Who do you think you'll get?
