I only like a handful of tracks on both albums. If I were to choose his best album, it'd be his first, even though that album wasn't very good either.

Prodigy, peaks n valleys to his career but he actually has a great catalog after the smoke clears

Jada never really grew or evolved or did anything artistically relevant, but he still kills his verses like he used to. He also never really lost his credibility like P did (repeatedly) and always fukks with the hood....but it aint enough IMO

I still appreciate Prodigy more for what he brought to the game. He pioneered a sound and an image, gave us insight into his life which was interesting (I enjoyed his book) and dropped a heater 2 years ago with Albert Einstein

What sad is that Method Man's Tical and Tical 2000: Judgement Day and 4:21..Tha Day After are way better than Jadakiss and Prodigy solo albums if you asked me.

However Method Man got classic albums with Wu-Tang Clan and Method Man & Redman Blackout than The Lox..

That being say....Method Man got way more skills. He was also great as guest spot too.

jada's solo career blows prodigy's out the water. the comparison is laughable.

and whoever said a solo prodigy in the '90s wouldve still had havoc's production is buggin. havoc wouldve kept most of those beats for his own album. and lets not act like havoc wasnt holding his own and outshining prodigy on numerous tracks.

I don't like to delve into "what if" fictional alternative history, but if P had spit additional verses over Hav's beats, that were of the quality he had on those albums, same concepts and all, both albums would be 10s. The opposite is not true.

This is alternative fictional history. Fact is - the great solo material was great (regardless of who was listening).

Clowned? Isn't this about the music? No one was clowning Return of the Mac on the music. And that's better than any Jada solo.

this is why i dont like comparing group artists to solo artists.

and whos to say that prodigy wouldve had it in him to hold down full songs by himself and still maintain infamous' spot as a top 10-20 album(top 5 in some circles)? i seriously doubt that he could. at best, it would just be a classic. and he certainly wouldnt have had anywhere near the same following. he doesnt have that IT factor by himself.

kiss has solo albums better than HNIC. and his mixtapes are way better.
