Beanie > Kiss

But you're right i would be curious to see if that poll is closer than this one.

beanie is not on jada'slevel career wise.
if, he was...
he would have never had that fall off point around the jayz diss/gunit setup.

jada has not ever fallen off.
So, how can we put a man who fell off and never up'd skill back to his real potent level.
Over a guy who never fell off and always UPS his level.

What the fukk is this even supposed to mean? Black artist on a major label with an advanced technical skillset? :mjlol:

So basically Jada is the most skilled MC of All-Time is this what you're trying to say? Because there's plenty of MC's in the history of hip hop that have come out on major labels who are as talented and even more talented than Jadakiss.

You in here talking about you'd only pick Prodigy from '95-'01 because of a "cultural potent co-sign" from Q-Tip. What is this shyt you be typing b, no in that timespan P melted the mic in just about every verse he spit, had imagery, storytelling and picture painting ability that was second to none, and had one of the illest rap voices of All-Time.

You said Havoc could not spit any bars :wtf:

You said Styles and Jada are better than Mobb Deep, because they'd beat them in a battle nikka it's not about freestyles it's about records. The LOX discography is in no ways touching Mobb Deep's.

styles and jada would massacre mobb deep in a battle.
to be real,...
havoc's mp can't spit any bars, breh.
plus, havoc did not get comfortable on the mic till, the kush.
with any actual real technical proficiency.
so, how are mobb deep going to cover ground skillwise against the best back and forth duo in rap history.
in the lox history only crew of guys proficiently still around and still ahead of their time was from the lord finesse/big L/eoght is enough family tree.
mobb deep ramped up, after the technical renaissance from nas.
before that, the lox were still better lyrically as the warlox.

you can go listen to the warlox tapes from their unsigned hype era and judge for yourself who was better.

Mobb Deep were part of multiple classics either by appearing on em, producing some of the beats or making classics themselves (Infamous, HoE).
Closest bond that members of LOX share with classic album was appearing on Life After Death and rapping over HAVOC beat on Last Day. Song that is more memorable for its production than verses. Not to mention Havoc' appearances and production on IWW, P verse on Capital Punishment, Havoc's on Enta da stage, not to mention the producion and verse on CNN's War Report. All classics.

I guess I'll consider Styles P feature verse on Flesh of my flesh... album as well, even tho the verse was weak.

Again, you can claim LOX is your favorite, but when it comes to who is better it's Mobb objectively for their classic albums and contributions to other classic albums.

Huh? Without him those 10/10 albums are 6 or 7's...

without havoc, theyre 6 or 7s as well.

do you dudes seriously think prodigy would be seen as elite back then if he was a solo artist?:sas1:

Nah breh - you grossly under rating his solo career - me and a few others been trying to tell you in the tournament threads.

Kiss got a nice ranking right? Meanwhile you got more than a few people in this thread saying P got the better solo career or it's a wash :sas2:

Ok. Take this neg on your way out. :camby:

whos arguing with me tho? nostalgia-driven mobb deep fans. lets be real, if prodigy was some new artist in 2000, 95% of yall wouldnt care. you wouldnt have even listened to those albums dog.

prodigy had a better solo career how? HNIC had a small wave, and hes been flat-topped and clowned ever since.

What sad is that Method Man's Tical and Tical 2000: Judgement Day and 4:21..Tha Day After are way better than Jadakiss and Prodigy solo albums if you asked me.

However Method Man got classic albums with Wu-Tang Clan and Method Man & Redman Blackout than The Lox..

Method Man's solo album Tical>>>> Prodidy's H.N.I.C.

That being say....Method Man got way more skills. He was also great as guest spot too.

Mobb Deep was on Method Man's Tical 2000: Judgement Day.

Seriously, I think Method Man got most slept on than Prodigy, Jadakiss....just saying :manny:

I think Jada was the better rapper but Beans definitely had better albums. The Truth and The Reason alone shyt on Kiss's debut.

dawg, that was two albums fifteen plus years ago.
just recently, beanie couldn't even and still does not rhyme at the clip he used to.

He ain't lying tho:sas2:

Anyway, this is tough. If we're talking longevity of being dope, it's Jada but P's run from 95-2000 is just incredible. I don't think I've ever heard Jada spit anything close to what P was doing on the infamous or Hell on Earth or Murda Muzik not to mention all his guest spots in that time period. That 1-2 punch of Still Shinin and Apostles Warning :whew:
