prodigy and his struggle-raps on HNIC and everything afterwards isnt better than no dam every jadakiss album.
Can we agree Jada doesn't have an album better than 4 mics? Can we also agree that HNIC and ROTM are at least 4 mics? Aren't we talking about a pretty negligible difference if you think Kiss got one album better?

Honestly too Product of the 80's was pretty fukking dope. A good half of HNIC 2 also. No ones even talked those either.

I said it earlier, but I think Prodigy vs Styles P is a better comparison. Styles has made better albums than Jadakiss and I think it's a debate that just works a little easier. P and Jadakiss aren't even really the same type of rappers. All P and Jadakiss really have in common IMO is that they're both 2 of the best of all time, from NY, and are both part of 2 of the best groups of all time.

ive been saying this since i entered the thread.

but styles would blow prodigy out the water.

i'd prolly take all 3 jada albums over HNIC. and thats not even counting the fact that jada has arguably the goat mixtape catalog.

sure, you can say that HNIC has crept into being a low 4 over time. and thats mostly thanks to the production. prodigy just rode the vibe and stayed in cruise control. to his credit, i didnt know he produced some of those beats.

im not even sure if i heard ROTM. once rappers get deep into the :flabbynsick: stage, i stop checking for them, unless im a huge fan. then i'll purchase it, but barely give it any spins.

i do remember when it dropped tho, people were talking about how chitty he sounded.

You need to listen to that. And I remember the response being the exact opposite, that P sounded better than he had in years.

i think P shaking off some of that rust on the Albert Einstein album

Return of the Mac is nice but there were a lot of lazy raps on there. Albert Einstein had better beats and rhymes

If they had kept The Dough, Represent Me, and Dirty New Yorker on ROTM and not moved them to HNIC 2, I might say ROTM had the better beats for sure, but AE definitely had better rhymes by a good amount IMO. Better than P has sounded since the Murda Muzik/HNIC era.

Alchemist was more versatile on AE and his beats matched the concepts of the songs more.

ALC and Prodigy made that song into a movie

I don't disagree. And Confessions is as good a story telling joint that Prodigy has ever done. It's way more versatile. And a lot of the beats on ROTM actually weren't Al's thing. They sort of split down the middle. P wanted more of the simple loops (Mac-10 Handle, Return of the Mac, Nickel & a Nail, Rotten Apple) and Al wanted more of the chopped up soul, which are the ones that I think are some of the best of Al's whole career (Stuck On You, Bang On Em, Stop Frontin, The Dough, Represent Me).

I definitely think AE is more versatile but my favorite beats on ROTM are just more near and dear/nostalgic than Albert Einstein beats, at least right now. At the same time if I had to listen to one right now I'd play AE.
