Charmaine was a real one, easily the best wife in the show. You want someone like that in your corner.

She didn't resent Carmella either (if anything, she pitied her), she was just a little pissed that Carm treated her like a servant at that party.
Charmaine belittled and tore down Artie any chance she got as he was a worker ass nikka....there was a reason Artie was chasing these hoes and trying to hang around tone and the guys...he felt that what she wanted of him as he felt she loved Tony ...

Charmaine wouldn't tell carm that shyt if she wasn't trying to make her jealous:stopitslime:

Artie couldn't even handle a frail french fakkit, can you imagine this guy without a wife like Charmaine? :mjlol:
Artie got his juice back when he gave Benny the beats....

Y'all think Charmaine wasn't starting shyt with Artie because she felt Tony... recalls them going through a divorce and Charmaine purposely dressing fly to impress tony

That French dude knew it he's in trouble when he opened the door and saw Furio on :birdman:and he was like :whoo:

Please tell me you don't actually believe that :mjlol:

Charmaine is like that one-legged Russian, she fukked Tony once but doesn't give a fukk about him or his status

Artie is not a mafia type of guy and she knows it, he'd probably be dead or in jail for some dumb shyt without her

Charmaine didn't give a f*ck about Tony. She had no respect for him nor the gangsters she grew up around.

She had no respect for Carmela either because she ate Tony's sh*t and didn't speak up. Charmaine wasn't that type. Wasn't no man going to run her over. Plus, Carmela thought she was better than Charmaine, and Charmaine called her on that sh*t about it. She told Carm that sh*t to f*ck with Carm's head. She was tired of Carm looking down on her. She knew Carm wasn't happy, even with all of her money. While Artie and Charlmaine were working and struggling to recover from the restaurant burning down. She was cool with the legit life, than the fake and illegal life of Carm's.

Charmaine was a real one. She was pushy and controlling because that was her personality.

"Arthur" :mjlol:

Also, Artie was weak. Weak not because he was a square, weak because he was a square who envied the power and appeal of gangsters like his pal Tony. Charmaine kept telling Artie he was the better man and stay legit, but his insecure a** wasn't trying to hear it.

Exactly. Remember the scene where Tony, Syl, and Chris are at the bar and Charmaine is generally :pacspit:to Tony about how he ruined Artie's life. Tony was like :what: and :stopitslime: like fukk it, and gets the guys to go to another place on :camby:"Let's get the fukk out of here, go to another place". Charmaine had balls to be so matter-of-fact about her contempt for Tony and the crew. So much respect for her.

As I recall, the old restaurant was founded by Artie's father and the new restaurant was established with insurance money from what Artie believes is an accident until Tony's mother told him. When Ton and his crew eat there, they are not giving money away as a favor or loan, they're paying for a service much like they would pay for gas or any other commodity. The show does a good job of demonstrating how when you give wise guys just an inch, they steamroll over you.

Tony treated everyone who really loved him like shyt. That's why if he really got clipped in the finale I hate that Chase justifies not showing it onscreen. On repeated watches the hero aspect of Tony wears off immensely. He was as equally if not more of a scumbag than Ralphie.

Tony was a miserable dude.

Anybody that experienced any form of happiness, he tried his best to sabotage it.

Biggest example was his relationship with Chris. Always undermining Chris and ridiculing his sobriety.

The most telling scene was in Season 5 when Tony, Janice, Bobby and Bobby's kids were all at the dinner table. Janice was talking earlier in the episode about how good she felt and relaxed. At the dinner table,Tony was just staring at her, bewildered and then full of contempt. He resented her peace of mind. Then he brought up her son, which he knew would set Janice off, and it did. Totally uncalled for. Just an a**hole.
