His backstory and overall character development destroyed most of the other characters on the show and that was a hard thing to do with so many interesting characters. I miss Boardwalk.

I see how you can hate him but he had his reasons for doing what he did, I guess the innocents he killed was fukked up but the man who had originally hired him was a lot more dirty. Anton was a hitman, nothing more or less. He took it upon himself to kill everyone that was responsible for the deal going to shyt, basically everyone he deemed untrustworthy and unreliable. The book goes into more detail but the film did a great job of summarizing it all. I guess there is no arguing in favor of a psychopath though. lol And the foreshadowing scene...

Very few films leave me salty after viewing it. I honestly thought that was the most overrated film in 2014. I rarely find people that agree but when they do, they share the exact same reasons for hating the film.
