I know we're supposed to hate Eminem, but to say he has no influence is laughable. :mjlol:That cac done birthed a whole generation of imitators.

Who tried to copy OutKast?
Flatbush Zombies, EarthGang, Big K.R.I.T., ASAP Mob (Rocky and ferg not those other trash nikkas) influenced by them a lot. Migos just did a so fresh and so clean remake.

Andre 3k aesthetic and look is copied a lot. I feel that Smino and nikkas in that lane have 3 stacks written all over them

Influence is more than someone trying to emulate someone else's style. That said, it would have to be Ja Rule. He had hits, sold a lot of records, but really didn't impact the game like his contemporaries or even artists who came after.
50 came through, him and Lil Zane were pac/X clones anyway.

Was Busta Rhymes never a thing? If not, Luda was going triple plat back to back and his lasting legacy is a DaBaby video/s? Is that it?
25-32 year olds didn’t give a fukk about busta rhymes beyond Touch It, The Jump Jump song, Baby If You Give It To Me & His Look At Me Now verse.

And just to speak on, but "who tried to copy them":

J. Cole counts Eminem as an influence on his style. Does he sound like Em? No. T.I. has also cited Eminem as an influence. Does he sound like Eminem? No.
