Wiz Khalifa

Wiz got clones and children everywhere

Some I didn't expect, babyface ray said wiz was his favorite rapper and picked a lot of his style from him

Y

Maybe him and Larry June were influenced by the same person

Larry's another, he has his own style now but his early work was wiz like

I know we're supposed to hate Eminem, but to say he has no influence is laughable. :mjlol:That cac done birthed a whole generation of imitators.

it's really difficult to gauge influence on certain levels. Unless you're talking about cats who straight Shan Tsung. Would you ever have guessed that ty dollars $'s favorite rapper is MF DOOM? There really is only a handful of rappers who really influenced other rappers the way you're describing anyway; and most of them are regarded as legends; it's a small minority.

Fat Joe got hits in every decade since the 90s, a classic album and a bunch of really good ones.

He has legendary stories, beefs, the whole 9.

He’s much more than a footnote breh.

Just fit the criteria in the OP.
I didn't say he didn't have hits and wasn't relevant, but nobody really talks about him then or now. Maybe in NY.

He's very much a successful rapper but he isn't talked about the way his peers are whatsoever.
Which is wild considering durk used to be coke boys
It's just the truth, french is an extremely successful rapper who has been relevant in the game but has never been considered that nikka by anyone. He's known as the guy who gets big features and big songs but the worst person on those songs.

It's funny because his mixtape discography is straight heat but he doesn't put those songs out commercially.

Ross birthed an entire generation of chubby dark skinned nikkas rocking a baldy, beard and glasses every time their outside

A lot artist rapped over the Ross style of trap beats he made popular. Rappers still try to get their soulful Ross style songs off

Influence is more than someone trying to emulate someone else's style. That said, it would have to be Ja Rule. He had hits, sold a lot of records, but really didn't impact the game like his contemporaries or even artists who came after.
This is why I was asking who asked for A 5 part documentary on Murdah inc

In the era where fans stanned labels and crews Murdah inc didn’t have any

Ja rule was getting accusing of being a DMX biter when he dropped.....

Damn i was gone say spitta til i read op and thought about it. Everybody stole some of his styles. I don't think we have any artists like that these days if we consider that most of they styles were put together from previous acts.

Maybe 3 stacks
