If Eli was on the Colts and asked to play consistently well week in and week out for a decade in order for his team to succeed you think he got it over Peyton?
He was, but entering last season, he wasn't though. I remember everyone was laughing at him when he said he has on Brady's level. He was really inconsistent though from his 1st and 2nd SB runs. He was throwing like the most ignorant INT's, almost worst than Favre. But, last season he proved it. But, entering last season, I don't even think people had him like even top 15 or even a top 50 player either. But, he got his ring, but lets see how he performs now though.

He's been solid to great 4 seasons out of 8 and he's one of the best ever

Peyton's defenses weren't as good because the Colts were too busy allocating all their resources (1st round picks, salary) to the offense for Peyton. And then no matter who the coach was you had to let Peyton run his offense, even when it might have been more advantageous to be more defensive.
And then factor in that Eli doesn't have these advantages but has been more successful in the most important statistic of all?! And then factor in how much more time he has left if he can continue to steer clear of major injuries?! I'll take the guy who wins with what I give him and fits into whatever team the GM/Coach chooses to build and you can have the stats guy who is overly demanding of your resources to be effective.

I didn't say anything about leadership. The issue is consistency. Eli has been very inconsistent with the Giants. Do you think he would somehow magically become consistent with the Colts?

in terms of what? yards, td's, td to int ratio, etc.? Eli isn't in their class
Super Bowls are a team accomplishment, Eli having 2 rings doesn't mean shyt... Bradshaw has twice as many as Eli and I've never once heard anyone say he belongs in the top 5
if Kurt Warner isn't considered by anyone to be a top 5 QB, then Eli sure as fukk doesn't belong in there
