Stop being mad that you suck at the official nikka lift.
I'm not mad, I stopped benching like a year ago :manny:

Still strong + still look good, not really worried about what anyone else is doing. :yeshrug:

in the last year my squat and dead have made pretty big gains, im at 335 lbs squat and 405 dead @ 160 lbs bodyweight. but my bench never improves :sadcam: i have long ass arms and maxed out last week at 215 lbs. and my shoulder press never improves either, been stuck at 145 max for like 8 months :why:

honestly i like training my lower body way more than upper body, makes me feel like a monster after repping out heavy deads and im also exhausted and mad hungry afterwards. it feels like i actually put in work, and i don't get that feeling with bench. like i can go and hoop for 2 hours after maxing out my bench with no issues.

Clearly y'all are neglecting your back. The bench starts with the back. From the rear to the front.

I know this sounds weird but I didn't hit 300 until my lats got way stronger. Sometimes when I'm stuck on a bench rep I can feel my lats kicking in to get me over the hump. Like my wings are flapping closed.

A strong bench is about more than chest. It's a whole body movement. If your back and posterior is lacking you will hit like 250 and stall out. Lats, shoulders, all that has gotta be tight.

I ain’t even know that shyt.

I don’t do what I should on my back because I still think my form is garbage and don’t wanna hurt myself trying to deadlift.

but I do all I can on chest shoulder and arms though.

I just got my squat form proper and I’ve been doing this weight lifting stuff for about a month and a half now.

Lighten the weights on deads, aim for form and volume. Take it easy on the amount of sets, the CNS is impacted by deads heavy.

Focus on back rows, pendlay rows, cable work, lil machine work. Back extensions.

I'm certified :flabbynsick:

I'm done lifting heavy shyt.

I only use dumbbells for bench press, the heaviest I'll go is a hundo.

I do a hundred pushups a day and about 75 pull ups a week

fukk all that heavy shyt.
