Do they have actual Warrant Officers in charge of Food Service in the Army?

Is this a logistic problem, or personnel in charge? Been to some super shytty DFACs, and some really good ones. Seems like they should follow whatever the good ones are doing

I’d assume that Civilians purchase and distribute the food.

Soldiers run the DFACs but everything else is probably DA civilians

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
My girl got a company that will do your paperwork and GUARANTEE a certain percentage.. And if you don't get it, you get your money back. They even have their own doctors to write your shyt

I'll let y'all know when I get the name... Takes all this guesswork and nonsense out.

Wont republicans just roll back a lot of this because of this gaming the system economy (like the people doing paperwork for you). i could see them getting rid of a lot of ratings once Trump takes over. Either that or new claims for certain things will get rejected.

Make sure to sign up for the Burn Pit registry. If you were near any of those nasty ass burn pits especially.
I was in fifth fleet near the persian gulf but on a ship. I stood aft lookout a lot and I could smell the weird chemicals, fumes etc. whenever we got close to land. Especially once we hit Muscat, Oman. Not sure if that country tho.

Im knocking on the door of 100%. Sitting at 90. Got claims pending. Currently at step 5. Hope to get this done
Put me on. New to the process. VSO told me to get treatment a couple of times then write a stress statement and thats it. I got old medical records from when I was in (ships medical records, not the onshore medical) so idk how to use that to strengthen my claim. VSO isnt helping much

I got 70%. Cool, but they gave 0% for hearing loss even though I worked on the flight line :dahell:
I used to work in deck division and we used to not wear any face or breathing protection when needlegunning and sanding indoors, so I constantly inhaled the dust, fumes, particles etc. I wrote about it once at a doctors visit when I was in (i still have the medical record with that entry). Not sure how to proceed with this claim and what exactly i would be claiming. After i separated I started having breathing problems tho.

What’s messed up is, when you go in for these C&P exams, how it goes can simply come down to your evaluator’s mood on that particular day.

I remember back in 2020, I separated from USAF and did some contracting over in Afghanistan. I had some exams lined up back home in NYC before I was heading to Iraq for another contract. It was my first time going through this process and when I showed up for my appointment, I could tell the doc didn’t give a fukk about me at all. It seemed like she was just trying to get me outta there as fast as possible. I got maybe 20% for a bunch of issues, which was bs.

Fast forward, I moved down to Virginia for a job opportunity and was being seen for the same claims after filing appeals when I was in New York. The doctor I saw was a complete 180 from my prior experience. Dude was super personable, chopping it up with me about life and what I did in the military. He asked way more questions and had me perform more tasks for him to evaluate me. After that, I got pushed up to 40% for just my shoulder injury.

I say all that to say to you fellas still going through the process, don’t be discouraged. Be persistent. Don’t let anyone tell you bullshyt and don’t let people act like your issues don’t matter.

:salute:
If your doc is Asian they're more likely to be understanding from what I seen.

More info breh:

Burn Pit Presumptive Conditions

To be eligible for PACT Act compensation for exposure to burn pits or other toxins, veterans must have served at some point since Aug. 2, 1990, on the ground or in the airspace above Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, United Arab Emirates, the Arabian Sea, the Gulf of Aden, the Gulf of Oman, the neutral zone between Iraq and Saudi Arabia, the Persian Gulf or the Red Sea; or since Sept. 11, 2001, on the ground or in the airspace above Afghanistan, Djibouti, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Uzbekistan or Yemen.

If the eligible veteran has, or has had, one of the following conditions, the PACT Act assumes it is connected to burn pits. (The VA says the following are not complete lists of cancers considered presumptive under the PACT Act.)
whatabout the waters near these araes? I deployed to firth fleet (persian gulf and gulf of aden) TWICE during that time period and we often pulled into Muscat Oman (and jebel ali)
