If y’all have kids and are able to have them use the educational programs.

My daughter was able to pay in state tuition (she’s going to school in NY, from NC). She get 1200 a month for 3 years from it.
It is not just degrees, can be used for any type of certification, education, etc. With financial aid, it helps offset the price. It’s no joke how expensive it is to go too school

The Truth
I’m back in this bih, rocking %100

So I will try to help yall boys any way I can

For reference, took almost 10 years to go from 50 BUT… I wasn’t really trying hard.

I will say the best thing to do is hit DAV and try to find someone about that action, preferably a Marine dude with a chip on his shoulder in the system, because most of the other branches come from a system of not caring (AF) or fukking people over (Navy).

Regardless, DAV is DAV and they will assist you. I was stuck on 90 for years then hit up the DAV once I moved and got settled

Also, warning. They are making changes supposedly next year I heard. Like, Sleep Apnea is no longer automatic %50, It’s %10. No more %0 Mental health ratings, etc.

They been gunning for that one for a while so I can definitely see it coming. I don’t know if they’re bold enough to be fukking with people’s current ratings, but I know their going to make it harder for those who haven’t started their process yet or who are still under 100%.

Step one was lowering the pension on the military side, step two was med retiring/separating people under 20 yrs, now step three is making the VA process a lot more stringent.

For Soldiers at Fort Carson, Food Is Scarce

This is just fukked up. DFACs have always been hit or miss, but there should be some kind of oversight.
Been a problem since forever. When I was at Riley, I remember they used to count the fries out to you. The only time we got decent food was surf and turf.
I 100% been exposed to asbestos too. Im just not sure how to prove that shyt smh.
thats a given if you were on particular bases. I worked at the Pentagon and that place still had office spaces with mad asbestos in them. Only proof of requirement just has to be like an ERB showing you was on that installation at that time and each DPW should have records showing when and what bldgs had asbestos in them

Filed my bdd claim, including mental health and sleep apnea claims. While both are still just proposals to change the ratings , i’m hoping to make the cut for sleep apnea if and when it does change. I have another respiratory problem that should rate 60 so even though having 50 from Sleep apnea won’t really do anything do for me due to pyramiding i still want the service connection so i can continue to get c pap supplies.

I'd rather not say to avoid doxxing myself, but I worked with deck department a lot. I spent the first few years of my service basically moving heavy shyt around, sanding, Needless gunning etc. I documented a few things yes, but one of the things I have right now I couldn't document at rhe time bc I didn't know it was a "bad" thing. Basically I got exposed to a toxic chemical due to our workcenter not enforcing PPE use during maintance. Now today I have respotory problems and sinus problems.

Right now here's what I have:
1) I have the medical question/answers that you answer during doctors visit on deployment as well as after deployment. I have some mental health stuff in there as well as one my my joints which got fukked up one time on deployment. The thing is, I had 0 time to go to medical because I worked in desk department. They basically discouraged us from even going there. If you did go to medical you had to do sk during your schedule sleep time.
Are you rated for anything at all right now?

I was also discouraged from going to medical and it was not really in my nature to go there. I would usually try n tough it out. It’s possible to get rated for stuff that you have no medical records for. They will look at your job and assume you have it.

Other stuff you can build a case for. Especially if you start seeing a VA doc. I personally started seeing a VA psychiatrist.

my last request for increase got rejected from a VA department in the middle or south Florida. The letter tells you which deparment and where they decided it at. I've been told by other Veterans that Florida is stingy.
Yeah, this the type of shyt Trump might make national. Republicans only support shyt like this when they think that only white men (and the women who support them exclusively regardless of color) are applying for it. When I almost became homeless I went and applied for the veterans support services. I went in person and the white guy who was in charge rejected me/told me there were no funds. Next day I went to an office with an Asian guy, dude instantly processed my paperwork.

>Friendly reminder that republicans and white nationalists arent anti socialist. They love socialism when it ONLY benefits white men (and the women who support them exclusively). Its why Europe is the way it is. The less black people an area is, the more progressive policies the white folks there impliment (see oregon, Colorado etc.)
