What did you do to get approved for vr&e. Was it mainly because you had difficulty finding a job? I tried last year but got turned down. Basically wanted to get some extra skills but I am gainfully employedMy VR&E got approved the day after I got two job offers

The reason I brought up the job offers because that's the reason I applied for VR&E. I had no luck finding a decent gig.
I'm doing security guard as a part time gig, so I basically told my evaluator how my service related disabilities are affecting my abilities to perform my civilian job plus I told the evaluator I was having trouble finding another job that would be easier on my service related disabilities.
Yeah you can. I tried getting VR&E earlier this year but the counselor denied me because she thought I would not have an issue with finding another job once my company’s contract was expired. I have a bachelors in business but wanted to get one for IT since that is what I do now. I should have prepared better for the interview by watching more YouTube videos on the interview process. Might apply again later if I feel motivated to go to school. Worse case, I’ll just use my GI billCan you do both? Stack some bread
VR&E is kinda like the GI Bill. They pay for an educational or job training program. The catch is finding a employment track that is easier on your service related disabilities.
