Anything I can do I will help breh. I went from 10 to 70 by myself. Then 70 to 90 by myself. Believe it or not starting watching YouTube videos of vets detailing the process. Gleamed so much info.Put me on. New to the process. VSO told me to get treatment a couple of times then write a stress statement and thats it. I got old medical records from when I was in (ships medical records, not the onshore medical) so idk how to use that to strengthen my claim. VSO isnt helping much
If I can help I will breh. I’m in Florida also. Jax. Was able to get to 90% just educating myself.im at 30% would love to get it higher but its hard in Florida
HOLY shytIf I can help I will breh. I’m in Florida also. Jax. Was able to get to 90% just educating myself.
HOLY shyt
Congrats
Yeah man. I resisted ( like most vets ) even looking at the Va stuff. Figured it was a waste of time. People kept telling me to file for stuff but I was like yeah ok
Finally went for hearing because I knew for a fact my hearing is fukked. Got my 10% and j was genuinely happy. Was getting $150 a month. shyt that took care of my truck insurance each month. I was satisfied. Rocked that for two years.
Went over my girls, sisters house for a dinner with her new husband. Navy vet like me. He said he is disability set. I said so am i He said he was at 60%. I told him I was at 10. Breh was And told me I better go get my money get what I’m owed. I was when I found out what he was pulling in I went ham on research online. Main thing was YouTube. Once I got in the algorithm of vets talking about VA claims I was on the VA’s ass.
I went from 10 to 90 in a year. I’m now trying to bump up my mental health rating from 30 to at least 70. If I get to 70 that will put me over 100. ( Va math). Got my claims in and almost to the finish linm
I'd rather not say to avoid doxxing myself, but I worked with deck department a lot. I spent the first few years of my service basically moving heavy shyt around, sanding, Needless gunning etc. I documented a few things yes, but one of the things I have right now I couldn't document at rhe time bc I didn't know it was a "bad" thing. Basically I got exposed to a toxic chemical due to our workcenter not enforcing PPE use during maintance. Now today I have respotory problems and sinus problems.Anything I can do I will help breh. What was your rate in the service and any injuries or documented medical stuff?
Aight. I'll send you a DM. Again I don't want to post it on here to avoid getting doxxed. If I can help I will breh. I’m in Florida also. Jax. Was able to get to 90% just educating myself.

Why does your state affect this?im at 30% would love to get it higher but its hard in Florida
I'm at 90 too. I just got a partial decision. I got my SMC-K for ED. Plus I got my sciatica service connected for both legs. But they deferred the rating. They sent me back for another C&P for my sciatica. Just did that. The PAWG nurse was like you close. I said yup. She said she was going to try to help me out. I'm going to be real close depending on what they give me for that. 40/40 or 40/20 and I am good.Im knocking on the door of 100%. Sitting at 90. Got claims pending. Currently at step 5. Hope to get this done
my last request for increase got rejected from a VA department in the middle or south Florida. The letter tells you which deparment and where they decided it at. I've been told by other Veterans that Florida is stingy. Why does your state affect this?
