Any advice for mental health c&p exams? ..

I came in with notes and everything and was in and out in under 15 min, examiner ain't gaf. After seeing the DBQ and how it didn't reflect the exam I had to request a new exam via a 28-4138 and include a personal statement. I didn't get my new exam but I'll let you know if that helped with the rater

Ive been seeing this happening a lot on reddit. Considering having my psych do my dbq

Last year I had several claims denied without even being seen for them. After talking with someone today about filing again I finally read the decision letters all the way through. Turns out I missed appointments that they never notified me about. I was only told of 3 appointments and I made all of those. At this point should I file an appeal or or just start the process over? I leaning towards an appeal because if awarded I would get back from when I originally filed my claims early last year. Claims weren’t decided until November so I have still 2 months to appeal.

No, I live in Germany so they were with doctors contracted by the VA

I got rated this time for Insomnia

My current ratings are

30 Insomnia
50 Headaches
20 Hearing Loss
60 Eczema
10 Tinnitus


The one I really am surprised I didn’t get was scarring and hair loss from scarring. I do have scarring from my eczema which is severe

During my exam she did not measure the scars or really look at it. So i am appealing that now

I have a appt next week with Pulmonary. I think I will be diagnosed with either asthma or copd. Both are on the presumptive list and I will file as soon as I know

I honestly had nothing in my records for none of those. I did try for bilateral in my knees. I was denied for that last year

So this is what you gotta do breh.. make some appt with your primary doc.. and have them send you to a specialist for you knees.. go to those appts and get seen 2-3 times.. then apply again for another claim for your knees after seeing the specialist.. you’ll get it

I’m in Illesheim. It’s about right in the middle of Wurzburg and Nuremberg. I’m contracting over here too but trying to get over to Kuwait.

I moved back to the US Sept 2021.. I hadn’t been to the WON since 2013… it was closed during Covid in 2021.. when I was living in Wiesbaden

I need to get on the ball. I did 4 years 99 to 03, didnt apply for VA until summer 2022. Got up to 80% last year. PTSD, Tinnitus and Sleep Apnea. I definitely got insomnia. I can barely keep a day shyt job.
