You know I'm with you more than I'm not with you, but I can't fully agree with this. The greatest communicators can simplify what they're saying so that they appeal to a wide-ranging audience. I'm not even talking about dumbing down. I'm talking about being able to explain complicated things in simple ways. You're harping about jargon, but that's not what the argument is about. That's more something I said to you once in a sarcastic joking way that I guess some people took serious, didn't I say the same thing about one of your music reviews before? It was just a restatement of those remarks. But we won't do that. Besides you and I both know that just speaks someone is eloquent it doesn't mean that they are correct. I've never been told by anyone they don't want to post in HL because they "speak so well."
I don't insult any so-called "layperson" by respecting their opinion as an expression of their person to the point where I don't come at their head. It's like this, on the other forums, it's fukkery, on here people are trying to give thoughtful responses, people don't want to look dumb or be attacked. Further, we discuss with ourselves however we want. I don't think anyone will ever look at at the rare back and forth between the two of us and think that we're "dumbing down" or not making cogent arguments. I think just watching that alone has educational value for someone who may not know. So that spirit of HL should exist, the mean-spirited-ness (brought along by trolls as well), should not. I don't want to be part of dissuading others from participating. No one is telling anyone to stop writing the way that they do, that was just supposed to be an inside joke between me and you that I guess you didn't recall from when you wrote your Bobby Left Field article.

I don't even THINK about Muslims outside of this retarded forum. I don't hate Muslims, most of my coworkers are muslims and they're EXTREMELY nice people and hard workers. I talk shyt about Muslims to piss off other muslim posters because they're stupid and annoying. (the majority here in HL.. NOT ALL)
Most of your co-workers are Muslim, but you don't think about Muslims? How, the fact that you even know their religion means that you think about the sh1t. None of my co-workers know my beliefs. I think they think that I'm atheist, because of some of the sh1t I talk about and the fact that I hold the office down around Christmas time; use my vacation for important things.

This "troll epidemic" is overstated, how do you know that we haven't had discussion about Slaimon. and that ilk? I said last week mods and admins were looking into it. Racism? These complaints are statistically overstated. The same people here now, were here during the election season and because the attention was so much on politics, no one cared or noticed. Nah. Their religion never comes up during work (they are mostly older female muslims and talk to eachother in arabic). I don't think about religion in my day-to-day life unless its thrust upon me from an outside source. I've been an atheist since 7th grade, shyt is old as fukk to me now. I only know they're muslims because of them speaking arabic and because of ramadan. I talk shyt to muslims because it's fun to troll stupid people that I dislike on these forums.
