This forum is basically what ktl turned into before sohh died - an anti religion/Islam hate site.

Its not that serious though, I get annoyed sometimes and respond to shyt I consider to be offensive but at the end of the day this site is mainly for entertainment, period. Nah. Their religion never comes up during work (they are mostly older female muslims and talk to eachother in arabic). I don't think about religion in my day-to-day life unless its thrust upon me from an outside source. I've been an atheist since 7th grade, shyt is old as fukk to me now. I only know they're muslims because of them speaking arabic and because of ramadan. I talk shyt to muslims because it's fun to troll stupid people that I dislike on these forums. Call it, trolling a troll.

And I'm peaceful as hell, this is a fukking random internet hiphop forum, all of this shyt is meaningless and if you're catching REAL life feelings over posts then you need to get a life. This is all jokes.

You said we want a clique, then you proceeded to talk about how this supposed clique doesn't want to hear differing viewpoints. You've said similar things in the past and described HL as a "circle jerk" and other colorful terms. I pointed out that that isn't the case because the KTL OGs/clique whatever you want to call it, have a large divergence in opinions on many matters.

Obviously you misrepresented yourself a bit. That's your problem. You didn't articulately yourself with clarity, then when I take your words to mean literally what they read like in text, you accuse me of being "purposefully obtuse" instead of just simply saying "I didn't mean ___ I meant ___."

This "troll epidemic" is overstated, how do you know that we haven't had discussion about Slaimon. and that ilk? I said last week mods and admins were looking into it. Racism? The majority of which comes from black posters and I get called a sell out when I deal with them? Has there every been an instance of racism that you reported that I did not address? These complaints are statistically overstated. The same people here now, were here during the election season and because the attention was so much on politics, no one cared or noticed. You're noticing now because they're able to stand out more on a stagnant board where people respond to them. When that immigration bill heats up, these guys will be a moot point. Most people like HL in some capacity, just not enough to post consistently and I think "we" are part of the problem, . Breathe. I'm not sitting here trying to argue about pet peeves.

Dude, I mean nothing personal at all when I say this. I think you're a good poster, but you should really step down as a mod and let someone who would serve the board better take over your role. I've defended you in the past when people went at you, but you're really not cut out for this.

You are fukking up and you need to check yourself. No other mod on this entire site acts the way you do. You shouldn't be typing these long-winded diatribes, castigating others for their posting approaches and trying to tell people what you think the board should be. You display all the qualities people on hated about Femme Fatale. Any time someone comes at you with a legitimate concern, all you do is turn around and point the finger at them for not acting in the manner you desire them too. And you don't even keep up with the board as much as a mod should. You even admitted in this thread you don't know what people are talking about most of the time they have a complaint because you haven't read the threads. You're in law school which is far more important than here, so that's understandable, but maybe you have too much on your plate for this. If you're not even reading most threads, you're not in a position to cast the sort of generalized aspersions that you routinely...it's no surprise they're usually off-base.

If you really think there's low traffic in HL because people are "elitist" and it would pick up if they stopped being that way, then dream the fukk on. There's low traffic here for the same reason that PBS has low ratings compared to VH-1. We've already been over this. If the regulars here who are always preaching to all left tomorrow, this place would go back to how it was in the first couple of weeks of this site before got settled in when it was the only forum with week old threads on page 1.

Maybe you should start showing a little more respect to the people who make up the backbone of this place. You've done nothing but shyt on the regulars here and make futile overtures to people who don't post here and never will as long as you've been mod. You should be trying to foster a healthy academic environment here...that's it. This is supposed to be a knowledge forum, not a high school house party. Your role is a managerial one, not that of an ambassador. You're supposed to answer to the needs and concerns of posters of the forum, not try and mold it in to what you would like it to be.

I don't even care about the trolling as much as some, but people have been pulling your coat about it for a minute now, making threads about it everything to the point where you almost have a mutiny. All you do is get all combative and lecture people for responding to them, like people can control what others do. Even now you're still typing paragraphs talking about how it's overstated instead of just addressing it. Your position should be "I hear you, I'll handle it," no ifs, ands, or buts.

HL does need more active modding than most forums here. That's what the site admins intended, that's why it says "No ignorance, no trolling, serious discussions only" under the heading. Dead End took an active approach in KTL and I don't agree with everything he did, but the forum was better off for it. When the Coliseum has more active modding than HL, something's wrong.

You are hair-trigger sensitive and prickly and stay on your soapbox. That's not the approach a mod is supposed to take. You should let someone who is more diplomatic in handling and balancing different personalities and less easily irritable in how they approach things, and can explain themself and their actions in an unemotional manner without going into invective here be mod. Someone like @The Real @BrownPride or @Serious would be a good mod imo.
