What's hilarious is just yesterday people complained to houston about trolling all day in the coli and he responded the same way I just did here. I once got called out for a fellow mod for telling them they were being too loose, and so on. The point, the Coli is not SOHH. I'm acting how the big homies want me to moderate. We literally have had group discussions on everything you just posted about. That's why I'm looking @ you like this: :bert: because you honestly just don't know what you're talking about. If you wanted to say that there's a communication vacuum then that's another thing. But you can't say that we haven't acted in good faith to respond to everything. shyt, I helped come out with that HL header so I really think you need to slow down for a second and recognize the facts that you're not capable of having.

Just today, SafeForWork got banned immediately from HL. All that other stuff is just your hubris, please stop making everything about you. If you really have an issue after this post, PM brook or bk. You always find a way. I'm not empowering that anymore.

I've felt the same way since peeping KTL on SOHH: I'd be posting here every single day, multiple times... but there are only 3-5 posters who consistently show any depth and a dozen who are garden variety buffoons. KTL was a bootleg HuffPo, and most of the discourse in Higher Learning is about as rigorous and enlightened as a random Harlem incense stand in the 90s.

That being said, if this place ever got its shyt together, distilled the dregs, and got militant about eliminating trolling, I'd be inclined to visit on a daily basis.

First off, what I said about the PMs is true, it was clearly when I was telling you that I think I could get some more people from TLR and other places in here. I won't bother bk or brook with asking them if it's possible to find my deleted PMs, but I assume that now you know exactly what PM I was talking about. Look @Walt, smart guy, really good poster. Never comes in HL.

Here's the last post of this thread. Most of the people you named or tried to @ I'm cool with and they've pulled me to the side once or twice and said I was coming off aggy about a thing or two. But they also know why. But it's also not one approach, I requested that people ignore Forrazeli and that alias faded off the map, I actually had to ban Tom. Banning someone from a forum is not something that is done lightly on the Coli. On balance, you're just incorrect, I'm sorry. As far as circle-jerk, that's true but that's different from the clique talk. That was me referencing how HL is pretty liberal in a thread where acri was asking for conservative posters. The "circle-jerk" reference when pretty uncontested by most people. If you don't believe that it's a typo, that's your prerogative. Bottom line is this, the concerns of everyone in here are taken into consideration. You feel a certain way and that's fine. You don't know me very well and it shows, and I'm sorry that you feel the way you feel but I can't change that. The good that comes from this is that, now I know what thread needs to be upped, the original suggestions thread. Look out for it, town-hall style suggestions. But this type of interaction between the two of us is toxic and I promise this is my last time getting involved. My fault @bk and @Brooklynzson for even getting involved. Everyone has said what they have to say, I'll up that suggestions thread in a second.

i really like HL...i see it for what it is and a see it for what it can be.

i don't post in here very often but when i do i try to drop some gems and ask genuine questions.


HL is a microcosm for the real world...it's educational, annoying, stimulating, boring and sometimes it makes you get sexually aroused.
