Barrett was trash all season but for one month and when he was bad he was bad like unwatchable bad like not even looking like he belongs bad. Bricks, travels, stepping out of bounds, getting swatted at the rim, not getting back on defense looking for whistles, back-doored off the ball, blown by on the ball, forcing drives in transition like a mad man, looking off teammates.

This shyt is disrespectful to Quickley that Barrett gets extended with no qualms and is giving endless leash to stink it up as a starter.

The Knicks offense did what it did in spite of RJ not because of him. He shouldn’t be taking so many shots as his 2002 efficiency clearly tells us.

Well whatever the decision between Barrett or IQ it needs to be done already. They can’t pay two players 20 million off the bench (No NBA team does this) and there will definitely be some frustration from the both of them if this isn’t settled.

Analytics says to keep Quickley but it feels like the Knicks are going to trade him unfortunately.

Getting rid of Obi and potentially Quick will be a tough move for Leon

Bro, I should just post a Jay-Z or Sean Price song and keep it moving but Josh Hart didn’t save the season. The team being healthy for a nice run together, plus ease of schedule saved the season. Josh Hart’s role in that run was with the bench and he and IQ gave the Knicks a level of depth a lot of teams then (and now) couldn’t deal with.

The fact you can’t acknowledge that Barrett fitting his game to be a third option next to two left handed iso heavy players is probably stunting his game is as always bad comedy. Not a lot of guys are going to be ok or even able to get there’s when they third in the pecking order and the two guys ahead of them play in the same spots on the court. Seeing him gain weight and working on his right says he’s probably changing his game again to accommodate his role on the team.

I think they keep Quick. I think there are an order to these things and they had to pay Hart first so Quick can give them his number. I think they’re going to pay him in the sweet spot between what RJ and Hart makes to reflect his role on the team. So probably an extension in the $22-23 Mil range. Also they can afford all of this if they let Fournier expire or trade him for a short contract and draft picks.
