On what planet is being recognized as the best coach in the league twice, winning a championship on an assistant on one of the better teams in league history in the ‘08 Celtics, being invited to help coach the greatest American players in Olympic competition, winning close to 60% of games you coached in your career, developing so many talents, trendsetting defensive approaches for an era of basketball not “killing it”

shyts crazy what people get on the internet and write

I'm literally talking leading teams to a championship.

That was and is the bedrock of everything I've said.

Drop all his accolades, he still hasn't won a championship and I maintain its because of his stubborn, one track approach that has diminishing returns and isnt sustainable; an approach many believe potentially derailed a potential GOAT career - but of course, as you put it, DRose was just a ticking time bomb and it wasn't Thibs' fault.

Is what it is my man. :manny:

According to most Doc ain’t shyt sooooo :francis:

Ain’t a coach worth a damn according to the Coli

Those Bulls teams were overachievers them winning 62 games and making the ECF is a massive accomplishment most coaches couldn’t have done that but aight my nikka they was suppose to beat the Heat and then the Mavs :laff:

I’m not even going to address the fukking Wolves and us not “doing it”

Bruh this conversation went from you arguing with me about Thibs having a ceiling to acting like I'm saying he ain't shyt. Are you being for real right now?

Stop projecting whatever narratives you been arguing with others on here onto me bruh. It's weird and you're better than that.

2011 Bulls should have won the championship gotcha.

fukk it, it should be us not Jokic and ‘em hoisting up that trophy.

It’s Thibs fault for not bringing in Evan Fournier and shyt

C’mon nikka :mjlol:

I mean Beal wouldn't be my first choice and I'm not clamoring for him but they have to make a decision about some of these young guys and picks. Time is running out. If you can get him for 2 players who didn't play and some picks that won't be worth much then I'm okay with it. He won't be someone who you entirely depend on in the regular season, he would be for the playoffs when they're stagnant and allow Brunson to operate with more space. He's also the best player they can get without giving up the most for.

Randle and Brunson come off in two years, I assume they'll both opt out so you can atleast get Randle off the books with the new rules that are coming. Beal isn't opting out of that last season so essentially 3 years. Idk, but I know they have to make a type of move with the assets we have.

Do you think best case trade scenario:

Brunson/IQ
Beal/Grimes
RJ/Hart
Randle/TBD
Mitch/Hartenstein

Could win a championship next season or latest the one after?

If the FO thinks no then they shouldn’t even consider this deal. If they think yes, then they got to ask the Wizards what they are looking for just off of due diligence. They don’t got to do nothing but see what the price is.

The expectation would be dark horse to make it out the East if we get Beal sometime in the next 2-3 years.

I still think Porzingis makes more sense but I’m not mad either way.

Miami is going to go hard after Beal or Lillard this off-season.

Only if rj makes a decent leap imo. This could be alleviated if Randle played like his regular season stats but I've given up on that dream. To be fair, this year was for the taking, so who knows what the future holds. There aren't any dominate teams out there in the east.

On the low I think they are going to raise the price too. Probably Herro, picks, and other matching salary. I think Herro is overrated, and the Heat Finals run shows that, but basketball is about winning and selling tickets so he would be a strong offer to a rebuilding team in need of someone to sell tickets.

There was only Evan and Rose and at the end of the bench. Everybody reading this thread who've watched all year, know them dudes are washed.

Tf they were supposed to do?

EF is washed now? He a subpar defender yes but come on he's not washed. He just doesn't fit Thibs style for defense.
