It’s bullshyt man…that’s why coaching in the league is volatile. It wasn’t like this in the past.

Every coach has limitations or what’s perceived as such by fans substitutions, rotations, relationships with players, and “adjustments” it’s the same shyt here every thread about coaches.

U know what makes a championship level coach? Replace Julius with prime Bron and we in the damn Finals.

Of course all coaches have their weaknesses but this is more than fans Monday Morning QBing and thinking they know better or not being lucky enough to have an ATG on the squad. This isn't some hot take with no sample size. It's who he is. Put an ATG on here and he'll wear em down just like anyone else in the name of playing his brand of ball, which hasn't won't shyt in this league, btw. That shyts a problem. :manny:

He hasn’t worn down shyt D-Rose was a highly explosive player with bad landing techniques who had to shoulder an offense a ticking time bomb. The rest of those guys Joakim and Luol washed out at an average age they’ll tell you themselves they wouldn’t be the players they are remembered as today without Thibs

Also last time I checked the All-Time greats played big minutes and if needed they’d go all 48. That’s how many a championship has been won

He won a championship as an assistant playing a prominent role particularly on their defense a team that won on the back of their defense first and foremost so although he wasn’t the head coach it was his “brand of ball” the difference is Hall of Famers

There was only Evan and Rose and at the end of the bench. Everybody reading this thread who've watched all year, know them dudes are washed.

Tf they were supposed to do?

Spot minutes for Evan to spread the floor and create some driving or passing lanes when the offense is tanking.

Let DRose run the offense to compose the young team, set up some easy buckets when the team gets rattled and get their confidence up.

Play Obi more minutes when Randle was struggling and use him for more than corner buckets.

Attempt to run line ups that couldn't be equalized by simply crowding the paint.

It's more than just scraping the bottom of the bench and you know it.

Maximize what you have. Use decoys. Throw the defense off a bit. Try something DIFFERENT when what you've game planned for isn't working or is stagnant. It's not all or nothing bruh. It's little shyt. Playing Fournier for 5 minutes when your offense is in a rut to give you core a breather and give the defense a different look and your offense a different wrinkle isn't a bad thing bro. That's common sense shyt for life, not just basketball. Thibs has shyt out more than I know about ball, but if he can't or isn't willing to make the slightest of adjustments just to see what works, when the season is on the line, that's a problem and doesn't bode well for championship goals. :manny:

Fournier doesn't guard 2/3s and can't dribble.

Rose can't guard young 1s and can't shoot

Obi can't guard 5s. Is he even 240?

Do you have MSG? Are you watching these games?

Just a lot of wishful thinking man.

French fukk has been tuned out mentally for months, hasn’t hit shots all season, and is a turnstile

Can you imagine if French fukk entered and shyt the bed?

These same jokers would be in here shytting on Thibs

You got it bruh. The only reason Thibs isn't killing it is he doesn't and hasn't had HOF players. You right, hell of a point.

His resume in relation to his rosters is “killing it”. There isn’t a coach that would have won a damn thing with his teams.

Thibs is respected period.

I'm talking about the Miami series and throwing different looks in spot minutes when the offense is struggling in a win or go home series and you're talking about Obi Toppin's weight and ability to guard 5's like I said the nikka should run center. Like I'm saying Fournier should guard Butler in the 4th quarter.

You're not following the conversation. Let's just say you got this too and keep it moving. Take this rep for your troubles.

Who said he wasn't respected? I dead said he's a good coach, I'd even give you great coach, but he has a ceiling that isn't roster-specific, which you don't agree with. Cool. I maintain that his approach isn't championship caliber and there's nothing you've said that has changed that, because you're still talking about rosters and I'm still talking about his approach.

The best you can say is he was an assistant to a championship team, which means someone else led the team and he was support. Major support, but support. Which means he was kept in check, not full reign. He had full reign and didn't do it with the MVP in Chicago. He didn't do it in Minny. He hasn't done it here. He a bridesmaid nikka, not the bride. :manny:

On what planet is being recognized as the best coach in the league twice, winning a championship on an assistant on one of the better teams in league history in the ‘08 Celtics, being invited to help coach the greatest American players in Olympic competition, winning close to 60% of games you coached in your career, developing so many talents, trendsetting defensive approaches for an era of basketball not “killing it”

shyts crazy what people get on the internet and write

For what it's worth, nah. I'd be happy he tried something different. You fail, you fail, but you tried a different look to give yourself a chance.

The approach is what matters to me.:manny:

According to most Doc ain’t shyt sooooo :francis:

Ain’t a coach worth a damn according to the Coli

Those Bulls teams were overachievers them winning 62 games and making the ECF is a massive accomplishment most coaches couldn’t have done that but aight my nikka they was suppose to beat the Heat and then the Mavs :laff:

I’m not even going to address the fukking Wolves and us not “doing it”

Evan would've done the same thing Strus did in the finals, since they both can't score off the dribble.

No thanks.
