Some other nice tidbits. Naz Reid has fans in the organization (they'd have to be moving Mitch or I-Hart for that to actually make sense...but Naz is a good option). He's not sure about the Knicks' interest in Seth Curry, but they definitely want more shooting on the roster. He assumes Gerson Rosas will be the next GM with Thibs having plenty of input.

Not trying to pile on Barrett but you can’t have Brunson be with the Curry, Fox tier of scorers have Julius with the Ingram, Paul George tier of scorers and you be with the Talen Horton tucker and Tre mann’s of the worlds. This is a big year for him

I think he's right. Thibs won't get us to that next level & coach Spo coached circles around him. We've been saying the same things about him for the last 2-3 years. The FO should keep him till they find a suitable replacement

Y'all act like Spo isn't a top 2 coach in the league. Who isn't Spo coaching circles around? Another coach MIGHT do better but let's not act like Thibs didn't also coach circles around JB in round one.
Y'all keep making this point but refuse to point out that this team, while good, wasn't on the level of Denver and maybe not even Boston. Thibs wasn't perfect in the playoffs, but he was FAR from the only one and there were several important players on this team who played worse than Thibs coached.

Yeah, I think Thibs outcoaching Bickerstaff is underrated. The Cavs had arguably more talent on their roster and got bodied. If the team stagnates or zones him out, it'll be time to move on just like with any coach. But last season showed growth.

I already said that Thibs wasn't a bad coach if you kept going in the thread, but he's shown his limitations & who he is in Chicago & Minny. Here in NY, he's doing the same things thinking the outcome will be different. He's not the coach that's going to bring us to the next level because of those flaws he refuses to correct. That's what you & other guys that are pro Thibs refuse to acknowledge
