anyone cosigning this needs to spend some time in the bible belt to get some perspective imo...
@theworldismine13 sure loves to talk theory
Most liberals are misguided and don't realize their attempts at helping, or showing 'they care' end up doing more damage than good.
as opposed to most conservatives being straight shooters that know their way is the best and everything else is the devil.
the reality is both sides have their pros and cons, however, the gop has consistently shown they are less open to real world compromise, tied to tradition rather than progression and more than willing to sacrifice the health of the country to get their way. the dems have had issues with balancing needs with wants and fiscal responsibility. they're also tied to appeasement to a fault in some cases. both parties need a swift kick in the azz right back to the middle. the divisive politics especially over the past 20 years have pushed each side further to the fringes, but more so the gop than anyone else.
Conservatives are racists. That is what their agents is wholly based on. Are liberals phony? Sure. We are all phony to some degree. Would I rather work with a liberal than a conservative? As a black man, of course. Ill take the patronizing ways of a liberal over the outright hate of conservatives.
So basically what you're suggesting is that we blindly ride for Dr. C, and support his absurd, offensive, and laughably false statements, all in the name of promoting this undefined political diversity, which is really just transparent far right wing self-interest that we've collectively rejected in the first place.
I know you and your ilk are frustrated at the condition of conservative america, but instead of encouraging an accomplished man like Dr. C to act like a ventriloquist dummy for the anti-anything-but-white-male teabaggin express, why not challenge him to elevate a principled conservatism and discourse that can engage not enrage? Fck kind of offering is "the democrat plantation"? The right's stumbling attempt to grow their party, by only spotlighting black supporters who sound like Sean Hannity, is proving another humiliating fail. But of course, its our fault.
Plus, the right is better fiscally
I'd love to hear how Austrian school, anti-keynesian, neo-liberal economic policies, and social enforcement of those policies have been anything but a disaster for the black community, and the working class in general. Thats why the right has to constantly pull these stunts and political clown shows ---its an attempt to try to intimidate blacks in accepting their way of governance w/ no strings attached.
Conservatives know they dont have an empirically backed leg to stand on when it comes to their policies, so they trot out house boys like this to try to convince black people they dont need the same type of governmental environment and assistance that white people themselves used to accrue wealth at black peoples expense for hundreds of years. Somehow a country that has been against our dignity and success since day one, should be trusted to naturally build our success, without legislative support, because somehow the free market always does whats right in the end.
If you honestly believe the sht they're trying to peddle, you need to go back to the drawing board.
I prefer enemies over fake friends.
Both sides have faulted to be sure, but liberals do it with a smile and a "We're lookin out for you" type of attitude.
Plus, the right is better fiscally
What fiscal accomplishments has the GOP achieved in the last 30, 40, 50 years
The GOP hadn't had a hit in decades. Even their modern god Reagan was a damn RINO. He introduced big federal deficits, expanded govt, eroded civil rights. He just did it under the guise of racism and corporate greed, so conservatives bought into it. And they know this. Conservatism in America ends with rhetoric, they haven't accomplished anything in decades
Sent from handheld Minority Report console
almost all majority black cities are run by black liberals and almost all black cities are economic disaster zones, so liberal ideologies isnt really anything black people should be championing either

Coming from you? Knowing what you've said about Romney v Obama on the economy?
