Where is the body of anticipation throws and into tight all over the field on Mariotas resume?

Put me on. I don't see it.

It's not like I have a video of it in my back pocket, but I know what I see when I see it. Oregon's offense doesn't lend to him having as many as those types of throws as Jameis in the course of the game, but he can do it. Manziel fans did the same shyt last year when I said Teddy was better. In this case I'm not even saying he's better than Jameis just that he can and has shown the ability to play from the pocket. His downfall, in my mind, won't be his footwork or if he can pick up the game, it's his arm strength. I've never seen a QB have inconsistent arm strength like he does. Sometimes his throws just flutter.

Bryce can make all the throws effortlessly
yeah i dont know why he's flying under the radar

Talent wise he looks like a top 15 pick to me and i have him as the clear cut #2 qb in the draft

He kinda reminds me of Carson Palmer when he came out of USC,Carsons arm was a little better though

lowkey, I think Mariota would be better in Andy Reid's offense in K.C. than in Philly
i think he needs to play in a dome or on the west coast.Tampa would also be ideal for him.Thats a warm city with a couple of division opponents who play in domes

Worst case senario is he gets drafted by a cold weather team like the Bills

As a 16-year-old, Mariota already could fling a football 70 yards.

Taken from a Denver post article.. Is his arm really as weak as y'all make it out to be? I doubt it.

Cool story.

Who gives a fukk, Mariota is gonna be a fukking bum at the NFL level. That amount of dikkriding he got this year for his gimmicky team running up the score on trash ass pac-12 teams is annoying.

Actually, I thought it was from blowing out top-5 teams like Michigan State and Florida State. And I'm sure the top-10 UCLA team that they blew out and the other five top-25 Pac-12 teams are really "trash ass".

MSU, FSU, UCLA - combined 150 points scored on three top-10 teams, and the LOWEST score was against that "trash-ass", lower-rated Pac-12 team.

its just not there. i was on the mariota ahead of winston bus, up til around the new year. the more ive seen since, in all realms of analysis, im just not sold anymore. his athleticism is off the charts, but its really hard to see his game translating right away to the nfl over winstons. i just cant make that argument anymore. his decision making, which is praised, is probably due to not really having to make decisions, if that makes sense. guys are running fukking wide open a lot of the time. when he had to make the tough throw, he would usually run it. maybe its because he cant consistently make those throws. i just couldnt gamble with mariota early in the first, if you are in a "must start now" mode as a team. most teams are tho. if i had to push all my chips in on one guy, i have changed my tune and just cant back mariota right now. you can either make nfl level throws consistently, or you cant. you can learn to read defenses all you want, but if you cant make that throw, what the fukk does it matter?

Mariota has a great knack for making the right play every time.

He averaged 10 yards/carry on scrambles. He threw 4 picks all year in 15 games. Yes, getting 10 yards is often better than throwing into a tight window. Mariota knowing when to hand off and when to keep, when to pitch and when to throw, which throws to make and which throws not to make...he was brilliant at that stuff, and that's one reason I think he has a good chance to succeed in the NFL.

My sophomore year in college, we had a QB on our team that wasn't an amazing passer. He was shifty and could scramble, but he wasn't an amazing runner either. But his huge gift was that he never made stupid throws - he'd pull the ball down and pick up a few yards rather than throwing into traffic. His TD-to-INT ratio at the end of the season was 15-2, and that saved a few wins for what was otherwise a pretty crap team.

Ignore the BS from the haters. Never had a lick of problem with arm strength or with accuracy on any of the throws.
