The names don’t mean shyt what matters is production

Chris Bosh had an abdominal strain and high ankle sprain in the championship runs he was basically a fukking 12/7 player and missing crucial games

WHAT KIND OF NONSENSE IS THIS

BOSH AVERAGED CLOSE TO A DOUBLE DOUBLE WIT ALMOST 2 STEALS N 2 BLOCKS IN THE 2013 FINALS

AND IF U WANA TALK ABOUT NUMBERS (SINCE U BRON FANS LOVE SWEARING BY THEM SO MUCH) GIANNIS CURRENTLY HAS A BETTER OFFENSIVE AND DEFENSIVE RATING THAN BRON EVER HAD IN THE FINALS @ 136 OFRTG AND 114 DFRTG

NUMBERS
Chris averaged 12/9 with 1.9 steals and 1.6 blocks good role player numbers

He scored zero points in a game 7 :comeon:

Jrue is averaging 18/6/9 with elite defense

LeBron had better defensive ratings than that but anyway those are useless pace dependent per 100 stats also I’m not insecure Giannis is having an All-Time series respect given

One thing I’ll say is this, if another ATG player missed 2 free throws at the end of a pivotal game 5 and got bailed out by his teammate’s great defensive play the tenor of this discussion would be very different.

he’s not a great free throw shooter. It’s not like he choked. Context is important

U USIN A LOSIN ARGUMENT AGAINST YASELF

Harden cannot be trusted to fight off runs, go clutch shot for clutch shot, or play well in must win playoff games.

You're speaking as if there is a consistent history of Giannis doing all these things; you also love acting like Beard has never had great playoff games or series...

I really don't understand this reimagining of Giannis as some hallmark, All-Time playoff guy. Again, his run this year its what's elevating his legacy and rightfully so, but we aren't talking about someone with even Steph's postseason history...

Doesn't make sense to me at all...

We know this is true and it aont just Bron...

LOL @ NUMBERS .. IF U ARE DELUSIONAL ENOUGH TO SAY A TEAM WIT MIDDLETON + JRUE > A TEAM WIT WADE + BOSH, THATS ALL I NEED TO KNOW. HAVE A GOOD DAY BRODIE.

Yall gotta stop this extra rep yall give Chris Bosh lmao. This guy was never a Top 10 guy, was never a defensive standout until heading to Miami, never led a team anywhere, chronically was hurt or put up disappearing acts during playoff runs, never scored 23ppg, was never a defining player of his eras...

Prime Bosh was no better of a player than prime Jrue or Prime Khris...

I knew that’s where you were going with it :skip:

Is he lying though? Bron is a better free throw shooter, has actually hit clutch free throws to ice games and series and yet if he misses those two your narrative would be entirely different...

U don’t even know what the numbers you using mean :heh:

And no LeBron had a lower defensive rating in all his Finals not that it matters like I said G’s Finals are ATG status

It’s a funny thing going on in the thread now

Bron stans trying to downplay Giannis

Bron haters trying to suggest Giannis is just a newer, better Bron

Mental illness of the Coli :lolbron:

I would say Top 25-30, although in a way if this was a video game, I would add in a bonus multiplier for: Staying/Winning with your Drafted Team. Durant and LeBron are better than Giannis even if he wins, but I would say that if Giannis won an equal amount of Rings, there would always be that argument that Giannis didn't jump ship to win a ring. He could do that in the future, but he would earn immortal validation by winning his first on Tuesday.

Harden is capable of putting up numbers in series that has never been questioned.

What is questioned is Harden’s ability to win and perform in big must win games which he never has. Harden for example has the highest turnover game in NBA history with 13 in a must win game 5 against the Warriors in ‘15. These type of games by Harden are different than Giannis’ because they appear to be purely mental where as Giannis playoff blunders are more due to limitations. I’ve questioned Harden’s motor in these games. I never felt like Giannis didn’t play hard win or lose.

This isn't honest and comes across as a deflection...

The only Bron Stans I've seen here are you, me, @Rhakim and @JACK! Of the four of us, one of us (you, lol) is arguing that despite there being no pattern of the dominance Giannis has shown this postseason, we supposed to anoint him as one of the 20 greatest players ever...

All context and nuance be damned ...

The other three of us are arguing in various ways why he shouldn't be given that level of esteem yet, and not one of us has used Bron as a benchmark or supporting argument for our positions on Giannis...

You're sounding like the other side now family, muhfukkas not talking bout Bron bit if we say something about another player you disagree with it has to be some insecurity about LeBron. You know better than that, fam!

Nah g hahaha...

Several times you've referenced Giannis' Semis G7 as if he wasn't also scoreless in that OT until that one basket, without bringing up the comedy of errors throughout that series that should have cost his team against a better or more whole opponent: the questionable shot taking with smaller defenders on him, the continuous spamming of the 3 to his team's detriment, untimely turnovers, the complete bozo shyt at the line multiple times, unwillingness to take on the challenge of defending Durant in the most clutch moments that Durant was destroying his smaller, more limited teammates, scoring droughts, etc...

All these things happened in that Nets series...

And would have cost the Bucks against a better or healthier team...

What's Giannis's sublime resume of performing in high stakes playoff games and series before this season?

This can be said for everyone with one ring if we’re going to contextualize every loss as a “flame out”. :hubie:

Dirk is in every bodies top 25’s with real choke jobs and flame outs (sub-40% shooting against Heat in ‘06 Finals and against We Believe in ‘07), KG is in everyone top 20 with one ring where he wasn’t the go-to scorer, Malone and Barkley in the top 20 with no rings at all.

Giannis played like shyt the last 2 playoffs and flamed out for real.

Dirk was a far better playoff performer you named 2 of his only bad series in his prime. Players like Kobe and Lebron have just as bad flameouts as those 2 series if not worse. And after Cuban fukked up with Nash, Dirk never had a roster close to the Bucks the rest of his career or a system like Bud's with a coach like that till he got Rick. Brogdon, Middleton and Jrue are much better players than Jason Terry or old ass J Kidd were. Dirk ain't even have a real center for basically his entire career until they got Tyson Chandler and he won one of the toughest rings ever in his only season with him.

KG was in the worst situation for a superstar ever. Look at the Wolves since. Sam Cassell was the only legit option he had in Minny and he won MVP near unanimous with a prime Kobe, Shaq, Duncan, Dirk, TMac etc in the league but then Sam got hurt in the WCF. And his team couldn't win conference finals game without him like Giannis could. They even beat the Heat without him last year. KG was also the leading scorer in the playoffs for the Celtics and 4th quarter scoring when they won it all.

Barkley should've have 1 more MVP at least and was a beast in the playoffs 2 who was impeded from a title by MJ or Hakeem multiple times 2 players much better than Giannis and anyone in the league right now. Karl Malone is overrated and Giannis is probably better but Karl got too much longevity.

As for the thread top 50. Anyone saying top 15, 20 is legit retarded, has poor knowledge of the history of the game or poor way of ranking players.

This is Giannis FIFTH all star season. Over 70+ years of NBA and a nikka top 20 all-time after 5 years as a star? Nah it don't work like that
