This was Canada in 2004. That's 13 years ago.
Most rappers weren't child stars in countries with high quality of life.

Not to mention the standard of living in TO wasn't nearly as high as it is right now. That 50k went a long way during that time.

But disregarding all that tho, dude lived in likely the wealthiest part of Toronto from grade 7. Only people that live in Forest Hill are well off cacs and jews.

yall call people from the burbs sheltered but all yall know is hood life
there are people in middle class neighborhoods that are in debt struggling
its like once a nikka aint from the hood he had it good
He’s not from the burbs, he’s from the richest neighborhood in Toronto.

The drake caping in this thread is hilarious

I guess you can be making 50k a year at 17, live in the rich part of town, and still be considered broke because of how rich he is later; in the same way Donald Trump “started from nothing” because the loan his daddy gave him was “only” $1,000,000

Affluenzas a muffugga :mjlol:

Can’t even admit you’re rich, want people to think you were poor so they’ll connect with you more, shyts a pathetic joke.

I'm sayin :dead:

Drake was backing in a 2004 car in 2004 into his mom's 3 story Brownstone...

Boxes upon boxes of shoes

a mic in his room

French doors in the crib

nice ass basement to relax

talkin' about "started from the bottom" :mjlol:

NOTHING WRONG with having nice things and providing for your kids. I think it's great and wish more people had money to be comfortable. But just because your dad was in Memphis and wasn't well off like your mom, don't act like your primary provider was broke.
