No, I'm stating what it is...the majority of those guys you listed haven't accomplished what Rondo has in the postseason...which is really what GMs/coaches look for in free agency.

You're resorting to personal attacks because you can't logically refute my argument. I deconstructed your anti-Rondo rhetoric with facts.
:russ: sure I'm anti-Rondo because what he did in 2010 means nothing to me in 2015

Like Rondo was the reason for their ring?

Rondo as the leader was a mediocre offense of the Celtics, and has looked like ass since he came back. Before Rubio tore his acl, that wolves team was playoff bound.

Rondo hasnt done shyt as the "guy" and has fallen off. And Rubio has always been a better passer and defender

1. Rondo was a very important reason for the Cs ring
2. If you're talking about this season (with the Celtics), Rondo actually looked pretty good. League leader in assists at the time. Still the league leader in triple doubles.
Leading PG in rebounds. A pass-first PG can't do much with a mediocre offense. He did the best he could considering the fact that he wasn't 100% and that the Cs
were aiming towards rebuilding. You're in denial.
3. Rondo (last year-30 games): 11.7ppg/9.8apg/5.5rpg/1.3apg
Rubio (last year-82 games): 9.5ppg/8.6apg/4.2rpg/2.3spg

Rondo (this year-28 games): 8.6ppg/8.3aps/5.9rpg/1.5spg
Rubio (this year-24 games): 10.6ppg/8.2apg/5.6rpg/1.8spg

:russ:

Rondo>Rubio. Period.
4. Rondo's been plagued by injuries (knee, hand, elbow, face)....you cannot believe that Rondo has fallen off; he's just been unfortunate.
5. If Rubio was so great, why did Kevin Love refuse to re-sign with the T'Wolves instead of being on a "playoff bound" team? Why was he spotted visting Boston last
offseason and meeting with...wait for it...Rondo?

how about this season where he leads the league in triple doubles and leads PGs in rebounding despite not being 100% and being traded mid-season?

Westbrook: fantastic REGULAR season; strong postseason performances but he is also the reason why OKC loses in the playoffs

:dahell:

gutted what depth?

the best players they gave up were jameer who they didnt need with rondo there. and brandan knight, but now they have amare so hes obsolete as well.

It's not that they gave up depth so much as it changes their style. They were moving the ball before Rondo got there & he (just like Chris Paul) likes to hold on to the ball & it has hurt their offense. On this Mavs team Nelson was fine because of the ball movement & he could knock down shots better than Rondo is ever going to. Losing Wright & replaceing him with Amare is a downgrade honestly, since Amare has no knees & isn't an everyday player.

Rondo is a cancer

To bad that fakkit kevj isn't around to see the decay.

I'd sign Brandon knight over rondo

The season where he's shooting worse from the FT line that Wilt or Shaq ever have? The season where Dallas' offensive efficiency has dipped a whole 10 points since acquiring him? But those triple-doubles & the 2010 playoffs :blessed:

first bolded:
we already know he he wasn't the greatest FT shooter. you're :deadhorse:. but i argue that FT% has to do with his shooting hand/elbow getting injured right before the beginning of the season. And focusing on one-player's flaw (while overlooking his positive impact in other areas) isn't a clear way of evaluating players' values.

second-bolded:
Dallas' drop in offensive efficiency isn't squarely on Rondo. other Mavs players were moved at or around the same time (Brandon Wright, Jae Crowder also left Dallas).

and you neglect to mention that Dallas' defensive efficiency has improved since Rondo's arrival.
