Sounds like to much pressure on shoulders, doing to much pressing work.

Hit them legs, do deadlifts and more back work also.

Are you training at home or at a gym? No need to do chest heavy more than once a week really, definitely not more than twice!


Ppreciate that. :salute:I used to do this before started bac working out, ima get bac on it. I train at home, never had a gym membership. Everythang I do is just me myself & I. I am tha lifter & spotter

Not as ripped as I have been before but also not on a strict diet either. Post Rowing and Ski erg session this morning

So after taking a month off due to shoulder & knee pains from weights I done came to tha conclusion ima mainly do calisthenics. How that gym been treating u GymGod?

I actually dont, I was just gone do weighted push ups, pull ups, then some deadlifts,&, curls. But Ima let go of tha bench, cuz it was fuccin wit my shoulder & I'm not sure what ima do bout legs except for doing tha heel raises cuz when I did my squat last time my knee was bothering my since I had posted about it last.

Any suggestions?

Actually pretty bad. I've taken majority of the last 3 weeks off because of shoulder issue and also vacationing. I think I'm gonna ease up until September time. I typically keep my shape but obviously lose muscle but for me it seems however many weeks I take off is how many weeks I need to regain.

Calisthenics, whats your routine for this?

Just take it a lil easy. Whether it's less reps or less weight. Or if u just tryna go calisthenics, try pull ups and dips for your upper body. And I'd probably do weighted exercises, but w/ less intensity for the lower body.

Thas crazy, sound like we sorta ina same boat.

I was just gone do 200pushups one day with 250 situps, 60 pull ups (I'ma start goin for 100) with 250 situps again. Then tha only bar work I was gone do was deadlifts & curls, with tha overhand press.

Haven't been really in the gym. I just been doing shyt, w/ my dumbbells, and my jump rope. Tbh, you don't need a dip bar. If you got a countertop that has an angle (like 90°) then u can dip from there. Just make sure you have room underneath. U can also get some hanging knee tucks in if u got the room.
