@Maluma I'm 6'4 225. I've been working out since I was about 12 but it's been real inconsistent since my mid 20s. Workout a month or two then get lazy.

My physique would actually be pretty nice if I got rid of the fat around my stomach. Chest, arms and shoulders look pretty good but that layer of fat on my stomach got me looking at myself like :hhh:. I've been doing calisthenics and running for the past month and I'm starting to see some results. What should I do to burn fat while not losing a whole lot of muscle if any? I'm not concerned with losing weight because with my height and muscle mass, I'm pretty sure that even if I was totally lean I'd still be about 210-215.
You in the same boat as me . 6’6 230....just up your cardio . Since I upped my cardio I’ve went from 38” pants to now at 35” in two months . Stomach def deflating . As you get in better shape the harder it is to burn cals so for me making that effort to constantly increase cardio is key .Started doing more pull ups/dips too .

I can tell everything working cuz both my homegirls who hadn’t seen me since March said I looked like I lost weight . Fact is I’m basically the same weight just more toned .

Damn brehs, I just don't have ab genetics, always wanted that washboard core. Just to take my shirt off and have abs:mjcry:

I been fleshed out, veins popping striations, in my arms. Yet I always got that spare tire and wide hips, my stomach area feminine as hell. I never managed to get that fat off, cut so hard 2 years ago I lost my whole libido and shyt. Pull up my shirt and I'm still pudgy as hell like I been sitting on the couch all day, meanwhile my legs got striations.

Idk what to do brehs, considering surgery/lipo long term. Gonna be doing another cut, this time I ain't stopping until my shyt cover model status

I been fleshed out, veins popping striations, in my arms. Yet I always got that spare tire and wide hips, my stomach area feminine as hell. I never managed to get that fat off, cut so hard 2 years ago I lost my whole libido and shyt. Pull up my shirt and I'm still pudgy as hell like I been sitting on the couch all day, meanwhile my legs got striations.

Throw in some weighted abs movements. If you consistently perform weighted leg raises or weighted v up or crunches your abs will show despite having a higher body fat percentage.

Went to a PT a couple of months ago and they said my abs were incredibly strong but my obliques were damn near nonexistent. Like zero mind muscle connection

Man mind muscle connection is under spoken about in bodybuilding. I've seen it gain traction but most people are focused on lifting heavy and ego based training, Im a victim of that myself. Slowing down and feeling the movement helps with that.

You gotta take breaks from cutting....

Give your body a 1 week reset and go at it again...

That's not including refeeds...

Patience is key with the abs...I know the feeling

I was at a crossroads and I decided to bulk up instead of finishing it completely....

I somewhat regret it but I somewhat dont:patrice:

Been lifting for about 6 years - started off doing strength work, did a split for about 2 years.

Now I do fbw. In terms of core I don’t do sit-ups directly. But leg lifts, Roman chair, etc that sort of ab movement

This the goal summer 2021, cut back down to this high 180s. Currently sitting at 206. Might just say fukk it and start bulking now. We’ll see how it goes.

Still trying to figure out if it’s even worth the cut if I’m trying to get the fullness for next year.



Just gotta get the diet in check. I’ve been stacking up on satellite cells from high reps too.

Once I hit this in the summer I’m gonna bulk recomp to as high as 220 beginning Jan 2022 and hopefully end up with the same fullness and body fat as breh come summer 2022

Areas I’m targeting:

-Lower pecs

-Core (abs+obliques)

-Biceps

-Forearms

-Triceps

-Rhomboids+undertrained upper back muscles

Gained 10-15 pounds of water weight after one weekend. Anyone know the best way to get this bloat off?
