Doesnt work like that
It's all about genetics and that guy is on gear, not that it's a bad thing...

What you think he on
Not that I'm gonna do it myself :hubie: but I'm just curious since he's in USAPL where they do hella testing.

I kind of figured his crazy physique for being like 5'6" was due to his football background.

Beastmode. The gift of muscle memory. I’m gonna see if it kicks in for me, since I just got my free weights back, and I haven’t lifted since the gyms closed back in March.

Good good breh, just put a home gym in my garage 6 weeks ago and started a low carb diet.

I'm down 21 pounds so far going from 266 to 245
By the end of the month 238-236 is the goal

I try to do three protein shakes a day
Eat 3 meals high pro/ low carbs meals
And get 15k steps in throughout the day.

Also added in one natural test booster last week

I think it works pretty good so far, strength/ libido is up, morning wood..lol

@Maluma I'm 6'4 225. I've been working out since I was about 12 but it's been real inconsistent since my mid 20s. Workout a month or two then get lazy.

My physique would actually be pretty nice if I got rid of the fat around my stomach. Chest, arms and shoulders look pretty good but that layer of fat on my stomach got me looking at myself like :hhh:. I've been doing calisthenics and running for the past month and I'm starting to see some results. What should I do to burn fat while not losing a whole lot of muscle if any? I'm not concerned with losing weight because with my height and muscle mass, I'm pretty sure that even if I was totally lean I'd still be about 210-215.

Do you have a thick frame or a wiry frame? I think your issue could be that your frame is smaller (bones are smaller) than the massive ogres/juicers who tell you that a weight of 185-190 is “too light” for your height. Only way to get that stomach fat off is to get it off everywhere else too, which might mean having to lose a lot more right than you anticipated.
Burning fat without losing muscle is all about these four factors:

1. Eating at least 0.8 g/lb of protein
2. Eating at least 0.4 g/lb of fat
3. Performing resistance training at least 3x/week, with an emphasis on lifting heavy but also maximizing total time under tension for higher rep exercises. With bodyweight exercises this is especially important because you have no other mechanism for progressively overloading your muscles (unless you start adding weights to your push ups/pull ups/etc.)
4. Most importantly, staying in a WEEKLY caloric deficit. If you need to eat more on days you lift then do so. Just eat less on rest days and continue hitting the mínimums from 1 and 2.

That's what I'm afraid of :francis:. I like the weight I'm at, but I do think that if I want my mid section to look the way that I want, I'm gonna have to lose a good 20.

yeah...I would not be shocked if you needed to go all the way to 180 to get truly ripped and see your abs pop. Don’t listen to people with bigger frames/non-Natty individuals/bloatlords. They’ll keep you from your goal.

You too @Formerly known as...

Pause...

My shape held up quite well considering I didn't train from March to August in a gym. I did very little dumbell work at home but allowed my shoulder and other ailments heal. First week back and feel good. Will post up after a few weeks in again.
