Chalk helps immensely if you have grip issues. I could barely do 2x315 deadlifting without chalk and was able to go up to 415 on deads by using chalk. It's the best thing if you have grip issues cause it'll help on other lifts as well (barbell bench, rows, pullups, etc).

this is your generic use chalk? or is there a special place to cop?

I estimate I can bench at least 350. I can bench 315 3-4 reps. 225 20 reps.

Squat & Deadlift?:mjlol: I aint did that shyt since high school. I could do at least 405 of both at that time though.

I was 250-260 in high school though, I'm like 200-205 now.

I can hit 315 five times... I deadlifted 550 back in college... Took a year off some I'm only pulling up 365 for 10 reps. I leg press... Haven't squated since high school. The most I ever done was 405 then I popped both knees one day and it was over for me breh.

Only leg presses and lunges for me.... But for real tho. fukk LOWER BODY :pacspit:


Edit: I love my legs, I love running, but fukk training them intensely.

highest i've gone since surgery

squat - 335 x 2
deads - 405 x 2
bench - 245 x 2
ohp - 125 x 5

squats and deads are at or above pre surgery weights, presses are both behind, not surprising though.

I haven't tried to max. But this what i'm currently using for reps.

Bench 235 3 x 7
Squat 225 3 x 7
Deadlift 185 3 x 7
Pullup weighted 3 x 5 with 35 pounds
Dips 3 x 10 with 90 pounds

I'm scared to go heavy on Squats and Deadlifts. I used to have back problems a couple of years ago.

these are all 3X5 (and 1x5 on the deads), haven't tried to do 1rm

205 bench
275 squat
365 deadlift

I'm in limbo right now, been stalling on squats for a month now and don't really know if I should move on to something else or keep going on SS until i get to 315.

Ya'll inspired me with your dead lift and squat numbers. Time to stop ignoring my legs lol. I went hard last night with the squats and deadlifts. That's the most tired i have ever been coming out of the gym. I thought i was going to die.

I know these are kind of weird numbers. I feel like I can deadlift a lot more but my grip starts giving after a couple of reps.

205/245/205

Pretty good week for increases. That mixed grip deadlift stuff helped out and I decided to say fukk and just see if I can lift more on the other stuff. Going to try 225 deadlift on Saturday and I'm 100% sure I'll get it.

Deadlifts work so much of your body theres a wide range. Strictly speaking it would be hyperextensions, but I do bodyweight squats. I want the extra work for my legs, and id rather not risk overworking my lower back.

Last thing i want to do is have my lower back fail on me holding 500lbs:huhldup:
