I have no clue why, but I can’t help but read this in Vince Russo’s voice.That bald piece of shyt Goldberg. A one trick pony show. That fact that he was allowed to get away from making a ton of money is an indictment on WCW. Can't cut a promo for shyt or put up a decent wrestling match. But most importantly, unsafe worker. FOH

I never saw the cm punk hype. Most ive liked him was shytting on elite. He might be most overrated wrestler oat imo.
This. Starcade was NEVER wrestlemania status. Halloween havoc seemed bigger or bash at the beach.

Just a miserable mf that’s never happy unless they’re unhappy. If she knew how to emphasize being “professional” as the word professional wrestler implies then maybe she would have a career close to what Charlotte has had.
Instead she’s been lapped by Bianca, Becky, Rhea, and soon to be Jade while WWE fans couldn’t give less of a fukk that she’s even gone.

I've written about why I feel Kurt Angle is overrated in terms of being a "GOAT candidate" in a lot of threads in the past so I ain't gonna post the same shyt again.
If I had to have a "new" against the grain take I guess it could be Bret Hart, but it's kind of a timid one.
I recognize the greatness of Bret, there's at least four matchups that I have up there with any other WWE/F one he's been involved with (vs Austin, Owen, Henning and Davey Boy) but I have ZERO desire on revisiting his career. For some reason the vast majority of his matches feel cold to me. I see him wrestle and I can't find a fault in what he does, but at the same time I'm not compelled by anything he does in the ring, it's very hard to explain. He's by far the best wrestler I have no intention of ever watching again unless it's against Owen or Austin. I think I've said this before but Bret is like a perfect wrestling Robot that I have zero connection to. I came upon this realization like 7 years ago when doing the GWE project in PWO and since then I don't I've seen a Bret match since.
Oh, and even though I think Shawn Michaels is THE most overrated wrestler in the U.S. he's easily a better tag worker than Bret. Rockers >>>>>>> Hart Foundation.

I think at the very least half of TSC agrees with this though. I feel a lot of wrestling boards (besides reddit's cesspool, lol) don't get and/or can't stand Cole's ass. To a lot of us he's one guy that's impossible to understand how he's so popular
I wasn't that hype about the Shield like that.
I NEVER got the hype about this dude. All the way back to ROH, into TNA and into WWE were he flopped. What is/was so special about Austin Aries? Nothing. Absolutely NOTHING!
All the guys from back then I can see what was "it" about most all of them. Styles, Joe, Daniels, Punk, Bryan, Rollins, etc. But this guy....wow, what a dud for me. I hate the terminology but he is the definition of Vanilla Midget to me.
And then fast for 10 or so years and number came up a bunch of times. He put his dikk in Christy Hemme's face because she messed up intrducing him on tv. And now he's one of those guys who got himself blacklisted for being a fukkhead apparently. Good, fukk him!
