i was gonna say, for yall that broke 300 what do you feel helped you progress the most outside of just having a spotter?

ive been focusing on slow negatives and its helped, and now that im lighter i can do weighted dips

its to be seen how much it helps since im only jumping 5lbs right now, but so far nothing feels "heavy" yet so i might just break a PR

Pyramids, 2 days a week have always helped me increase my strength and endurance on the bench. But of course it will also depend on how much you weigh as far as your max potential.

if you post a vid of you benching 405 ill believe you :myman:

How do I post a video using an iphone? Would I be able to upload it straight to youtube? I'll post a video of at least 450 and if I move back up in weight I'll try to keep my BF % low again and even post a video of that. I'm at 207 now so its gonna take me at least 8-12 months to get back to 220 lb. My only real concerns are my shoulders and elbows. I can't do some exercises anymore.

Action Jackson said he was 5'10/225/5% fat....no bodybuilders who claim natural have those measurements...not only that, He said he benches 500 at that weight and it kinda defies science. You don't expect some people to be skeptical about that?

I'd like to hear how I defied science.

3% :heh: You clearly need to do some research on bf% and what each % looks like. There are SEVERAL pros at my gym and even if there weren't any I've done enough personal research to know. NO ONE IS 3%. They would be :deadrose:.

I'm done with this thread, if dudes want to believe your :duck: that's up to them I've provided the proof to differentiate the real from the fake. Look up 500+ benches on youtube, then look up what pro bbers are on stage. If you think this guy was sitting at 5% and benching 500+ then that's on you.

Just know that he has provided NO proof like I said he would. :jawalrus:

Like I said, this was 4+ years ago. I had no reason to video tape it.

Skip to 1:30. First test he tested at 7% BF second test he was at 3% BF.

Dude going from 20% BF to 4.5%

Article on Kelechi Opara - he maintains a 4.5% BF and goes below 3% certain times of the year.

Like I said, I had a professor from Minnesota use the caliper on me when I got certified as a personal trainer. The caliper isn't the most accurate but I trust the dude who measured me so if I wasnt 5% I was pretty damn close. I maxed 525 with in a few weeks of being measured.

I dont think this dude really knows what 5% is.

You were 5'10" 225 with 5% bodyfat:wtb: natural:wtb:

That is competition level bodyfat. Meaning there is vascularity/striations in your lower abs..

At 225...

Benching 500+...

Those stats youre claiming means you were also ~50lbs heavier than the above guys... shredded...:wtb:
Either you were stacking cycles, 15%+ bodyfat, or flat out lying. No offense breh, but it has to be called:manny:

I gave it the benefit of the doubt , but when you started arguing so vehemently about having 5% bodyfat, it turned into:shaq2:

I never touched a steroid. Never will. I never even went to HGH. People don't realize you can achieve what others do with steriods (with in reason). It just takes a lot longer and a lot more sacrifice. Nutrition, the right supps, and good routines you can achieve a low body fat % and still keep your strength. lol. I know I've done it. I swear on everything I love.

And the guys you posted are pre comp. They have a shyt ton of spray tan on, pumped up, and they have drained as much water from themselves as they possibly could. Thats like posting pics of a model chick and expecting her to look like that in person on a daily basis.

With my 3GS the quality is ok, just vid the weights then place off to the side of the bench or ask someone

If you really pushing that weight  but I'll say this sub 8% bf is contest type shyt that can't be held long

Alot of those vids those guys aren't that low even if they say they are, nevertheless I hope you do post a vid, will be a great motivational piece

had a shoulder injury that kept me from benching/doing sit-ups

was able to bounce back all the way up to 315+ within a yr

I'd say #1 is consistency, #2 is proper rest (EXTREMELY IMPORTANT), #3 dumbbells expose you, #4 benching is a total upper body workout, neglecting tri's/forearms etc only makes it harder

I can't stress the resting part enough though.

270 in March. Havent benched since school let out. I've been doing mostly cardio and dumbels trying to lose weight. Just had finger surgery so I've been on the shelf for the last week though hampering my progress.

295 years ago. I don't really do heavy weight on the bench anymore though. My rotator cuffs have been starting to feel it.

Haven't done a 1-rep max since they tested us in college and that was 415lb. Now I finish at 325lb and usually hit between 6-9 reps.

Most I've done on the 225lb test is 28 reps

how tall and how much do u weigh?
